-The night of the party -

Rhonda snuck in her moms room and stole a condom. She wasn't so sure what was gonna happen that night so she grabbed one cautiously.

Rhonda didn't kno the first thing about sex. Her mother never sat down to talk to her about it.

Suddenly.."what the fuck you doin in my room!?" 

Rhonda jumped "Nothing, I was looking in the mirror!"

"Get out!" Shawny screamed, pointing at the door.

"Where you goin all dressed up!?"

"I'm going to a party with Cierra!"

"Who told you you could go somewhere!? And with Cierra li fast ass anyway?" She said, pulling out a cigarette.

"Ma, my birthday was 2 days ago and I didn't go anywhere and you didn't get me anything!"

"You too old for presents , besides, you don't deserve shit for your birthday.!" She puffed on the cigarette , blowing smoke into the air .

"I'm going to this party!"

"So you gone tell me what YOU about to do, im your mother !! "

"ROSCO!!! " she yelled into the living room.

"Yea?"

"What you think about Rhonda going to this party with Cierra!?"

Rosco walked in the room "I don't think you should let her go!" With a smirk on his face.

"You're not my daddy Rosco ! Why are you even here!?" Rhonda replied, with her arms folded .

Rhonda didn't know who her father was. Shawny never talked about him.

"Watch your mouth young lady! I'm the man of this house and what I say goes!"

"Mama really!?"

Shawny continued to smoke the cigarette ignoring her.

Rhonda ran to her room and began to cry. "I hate this house!" She screamed.

She called Cierra "Hello!?"
Cierra could hear her best friend on the other end crying .
"Girl, what the hell wrong with you!?"
"Rosco is ruining my life! And Shawny won't let me go to the party! I'm sorry girl!"

"Oh you're coming to this party !" Cierra said certainly.
"Meet me at the back door in about an hour!"

-An hour and a half later-

Rhonda sat on the bed impatiently waiting for Cierra's txt. Five minutes later "I'm outside."

Rhonda jumped out the bed, put her jacket on and peeped out the door . Rosco and Shawny where both in bed .

She made it to the back door where Cierra was . As soon as she opened the door Cierra'a loud mouth "Heyy BITCH lets go!!"

"Keep quiet , dang! You gone wake them up!"

"Ok lets go !!"
They both took off down the road in the night! Bennie only stayed two blocks away so it didn't take long to get there.

"Hey guys!" Cierra said as she approached Bennie and his two friends Rodger and John sitting on the front porch!

Bennie looked directly at Rhonda and said "ohhh look who you drug out of the house!!"
"I had to literally sneak her out of he house . Shawny's ass was trippin."

"Ok,I'll be back girl I'm goin to get my party on ! " Cierra took off with no hesitation into the house dancing and singing , leaving Rhonda standing there with Bennie.

"U bet not lea....

Heading towards the music Cierra yelled" I cant hear you....."

Rhonda rolled her eyes.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna bite you.....if you don't want me to."

Rhonda smiled , pushing her hair behind her ear.

"So, would you like to dance!?" He said, with his hand out .

"I guess!" Rhonda replied anxiously.

They made it to the dance floor and began to dance. Bennie pushed his body up against Rhonda's . She was so shy she couldn't look at him.

Bennie leaned over to her ear "Rhonda, you know I like you right!?"
She looked up shocked.
"You do!?"
"Yea! I have since the first day I saw you! He yelled over the music.
The music was too loud that she could barely hear him.

"You wanna go to my room and talk !?"

Bennie's parents where out of town for the weekend and he had the house to himself .

"Sure!" Rhonda replied .
He grabbed her hand and they walked upstairs .
Rhonda looked around the room for Cierra but she was nowhere in sight ...........
