....."Not my baby!!.....this can't be happening !" Shawny screamed, as she fell to the floor.

John rushed over towards her, picking her up off the floor.

"The nurse said she will be ok baby, she will be ok!!" John wiped away Shawny's tears, as they fell down his face also.

"Where's Lisa!?"

"She's with the baby sitter! John what happened!? Tell me what happened!?" She said, starring over at Cierra, covered in Rhonda's blood.

John got quiet.

"John!? Tell me what happened!" Shawny said, grabbing his face.

"It's a long story !"

"Well make it short!!" She screamed.

"I went to Cierra's place, to look for Micheal! He had been jumping on her and when I got there......."

Shawny stood there with her hands on her hips , waiting on him to finish .

"When I got there , Micheal was standing behind the door with a knife and I had my pistol . He cut my hand and I dropped the gun, We ended up fighting over the knife and somehow he made his way to the gun and Rhonda ran in the house and he shot her."

"Where be at!!!???? Where is he at!?" Shawny screamed, running towards the exit.

John ran after her. "Shawny STOP!! His ass is in jail! The police locked him up before we even left the house!!"

Shawny burst out in tears.
"What if she doesn't make it!? What am I gonna tell Lisa!? John what am I gonna tell my grandbaby!? This wasn't even her business.!!!"

Cierra cried in the corner. "This is all my fault!! I'm sorry Shawny! I'm so sorry!" She stood up and walked towards Shawny and gave her a hug.

This was the first time Cierra and Shawny said anything directly towards each other .

Suddenly Crystal walked through the door.
"Is everybody ok!?"

Shawny rolled her eyes.

"Mamma!!!" Cierra ran towards her mother .

"Oh my God Cierra look at your face!!! What happened to you!??"

"What are you doing here!?" John asked.

"Oh , I saw It on the news and I just wanted to make sure everyone was ok."

Shawny looked at Crystal.

"I kno you don't like me, but I hope your daughter pulls through!"

Shawny nodded her head, wiping snot and tears from her face.
"Come on Cee, lets go!"

"No, mama , I'm not leaving until I find out if she's ok!"

"Ok, well I'm not leaving either!"

Anthony paced back and forwards with his fists balled up !!

Shawny walked over to him and hugged him. He burst out in tears, hugging her back.

"If only I would have ran in that house instead of her."

"Hey , are you the parents of Rhonda!?" Said, the nurse, as she walked in with folders in her arms.

Shawny, john, Anthony and Cierra jumped up.

"Yes?"

"Come right this way!"
They followed her down the hallway and through the double doors.

There laid Rhonda, with white bandages wrapped around her shoulder.

"She's gonna be just fine! We had to give her a blood transfusion because she was low on blood and we Gave her sum MEDS to stop the pain. Andddddd umm, that's it!!"

She looked over at Rhonda "You need anything!?"

Rhonda shook her head.

"Ok!"

"Rhonda?? Baby!? Are you ok!!" Shawny asked, as she walked over towards the bed.

She nodded her head.

"I'm so sorry Rhonda! This is all my fault! I should have never brought you in this mess!!" Cierra said, with tears falling down her face.

Rhonda looked up at Anthony and smiled.

"Hey!"

"Hey!"

Cierra looked back at Anthony and turned back around and looked at Rhonda.
"Well, I'll leave you two alone, come on dad and Shawny ! Let's go!"

"But....." said Shawny.

"Come on baby, let them have this time!"

Shawny kissed Rhonda on the head and left the room.

Anthony walked towards the bed and sat down.

"Glad to know you're ok!!"

"Glad to know you're still here!"

Anthony leaned over and kissed Rhonda on the cheeks.

"I wasn't gonna leave until I found out you where ok! I even rode in the ambulance with you! I told the folks I was your husband." He laughed."

"Why would you ...." she laughed.

"Ouch !"

"Hey now!! Relax!" Anthony said.

"So, I. Guess I can't have another date after this huh?" He asked, chucking .

"Yea, when I heal up! Maybe !"

"You hungry?"

"Yesssss! I'm starving!!!"

"Ok, I'll get you something from the restaurant! Be back in a little bit!"

Anthony walked out and closed the door softly.

       30 minutes later

Bennie walks in.

"Are you ok!?"

"Yea, I'm fine!"

"Who did this to you!? I'm gonna kill em!"

"Why is it important!? Aren't you supposed to be at home with your pregnant girlfriend?"

"I have to come check on the mother of my child! I seen it on the news !"

"Yea, whatever!!"

"Rhonda why you so mean to me!?"

Rhonda ignored him.

"Ok, you can leave now!!"

"I can't come check on you!?"

"You checked on me, now leave!! Aww, and thank you!! I appreciate it, goodbye!!"

He walked over towards the bed.

"Ya li boyfriend came to my house the other night! Did he tell you that him and Casey used to talk and that she might be pregnant by him!!??"

Rhonda looked up in shock!

"No, that can't be true! He told me he broke up with her 8 months ago, she's 6 and a half months pregnant!"

"That doesn't mean he wasn't still fuckin her after they broke up!"

"Bennie, I know what you doing !! You're tryna make me leave Anthony alone!! But it's not gonna work!!"

"Ok, I'm just telling you, he's not who you think he is!"

Suddenly the door opened.

"I got you a steak, some potatoes and .......he stopped , starring at Bennie.

"What the hell are you doing here??...................
