....Rhonda walked home silent. She didn't feel like talking.

"Girl what's wrong with you!? Why you so uptight!?"

"There's nothing wrong with me ! Where were you all night!?"

"I should be asking you that same question!" She stopped Rhonda and grabbed her arm.

"Stop, look at me!!"  Cierra looked into her best friends eyes.
"Oh...my ...fuckin.. God! Rhonda you had sex with himmmm!" She shoved her lightly.

"No I didn't !!" Rhonda replied defensively.

"Where's the condom Rhonda!?"

"It's in my pocket , see?" She took the condom out of her pocket waving it across Cierra's face .

"Ok ! I'm going to believe you this time ! You better not be lying to me. I can look in your eyes and tell you're hiding something from me Rhonda . I'm your best friend . You can tell me anything."

Rhonda still refused to tell Cierra what happened.

They finally made it to Rhonda's house and Shawny was standing in the door with her arms folded smoking a cigarette.

"Bring yo ass on in this house . Cause you thank you grown sneaking out in the middle of the night when me and Rosco told yo ass don't leave.!"

"Rosco is not my daddy!" She replied, in a sassy way.

"And !? He help feed yo ass don't he??"

"I don't feel like talking about this , I'm sleepy !" Rhonda walked pass her mom and walked into the front door.

Shawny grabbed her hair "Bitch you think you grown don't ya! You must be smelling ya self if you think you're gonna talk back to me?"

"Mama let my hair go please!!" Rhonda didn't wanna hit her mother so she just tried to walk away.

Rosco jumped out the bed . "What the hell goin on in here!?"
Shawny stood by the door with a handful of Rhonda's pretty black hair balled up in her fist.

"Let me goooo mama please??"
Let her hair go Shawny!" Rosco pulled Her fingers away from Rhonda's hair . She pulled her hair so tight that she had strings of her hair left in her hand.

Rhonda took off running towards her room crying .

Shawny yelled to her "Let me find out you've been out with some boy!"

"I was with Cierra mama dang! "

"I don't give a FUCK! I don't like Cierra! I done told you to quit hanging around that li fast ass girl anyway!"

Rhonda mumbled , "who are you to call somebody fast ??"

"What the hell you say? You better take your grown ass to bed."

Rhonda slammed the door, got in her bed, and began to sing to herself .  "Cause iiiii ammm (sniff) a superrrrrwomann , yes I ammm (snif) even when I'm a mess, I still put on a vest with an S on my chest (snif) ohhhh yes I'm a superrr Womannn."

         -3 weeks later -

Rhonda and Cierra sat up in her room doin homework together. Rhonda hadn't really talked to Bennie that much after that night .

Suddenly Rhonda jumps up and runs to the bathroom "bluuuuhh"

"Rhonda what the hell wrong with you!? What did you eat today!?"

She came back out of the bathroom wiping vomit from her lips "That nasty cafeteria food! That shit makes everybody sick man ."

Cierra was so lost . "Oh, well , wanna walk to the store and get you some MEDS!?"

"Girl , I don't need no meds, but I am hungry as hell."

Cierra and Rhonda walked out of the house to see Shawny sitting on the porch smoking a cigarette.

"Where the fuck you goin li girl!?" 

"I'm going to the store mama, dang! "

Shawny looked at Cierra and rolled her eyes.

They made it to the corner store down the street "Why yo mama don't like me !? I've never done anything to her!"

"She says your "Hot in the ass"!" Rhonda replied,  picking up a bag of chips laughing .

"You can say what you want , but I think it's another reason!"

Suddenly, Rhonda began to grab her stomach . She looked at Cierra and ran out the door . "Bluhhhhh "
Vomiting all over the ground .

"Rhonda what the hell!? Is there something you want to tell me !?" Cierra crossed her arms .

Wiping vomit from her mouth , Rhonda replied with tears coming down her face "Yesss.........................
