I just finished performing and was preparing for my next prod when Sef asked me.
"Dude, damang-dama mo prod mo kanina ah. Hahaha. Para ba sa girlfriend mo yan?" he asked.
"Girlfriend? I don’t have a girlfriend bro."
"Weh? Hindi mo ba girlfriend yung girl na lagi mong kasama?" he asked.
"Si Julie? No! Haha. Di ko girlfriend si Julie." I replied.
"Eh bakit ang sweet niyo sa isa’t isa? Ha?"
"We’re bestfriends dude. Bestfriends." I said.
"Bestfriends? So pwede ko ligawan?" Mark asked.
"No!!" I said.
"Eh bakit bawal?" They all asked.
"K-kasi. Basta hindi pwede. Manang yun eh."
"Manang daw eh ang sexy nga eh. Ganda pa. Diba bro?" Derrick told Mark. Tumango naman sila.
"Eh baka naman ayaw paligawan ni Elmo kasi siya may gusto manligaw. Ano bro?" Sef teased me.
"Tss. Hindi ah. It’s just that she herself is not ready to have a boyfriend yet." I said. They nodded in agreement and went back to preparing for our prods.
"Pero dude. What if ready naman siya. Pwede ligawan?" Mark asked.
"No!!" I yelled and they all laughed.
"Protective hilaw na boyfriend! Hahahaha!" Derrick said and even high-fived Kris. "Di na kami palag, bro. Nabakuran mo na pala eh." he said before he went out of the dressing room.

"Tabs, I’ll meet with Clarie at the coffee shop. Wanna come?" I heard my bestfriend said.
"I can’t, Bru. I have a show today remember?" I said. "You girls enjoy na lang ha? Say hi to Clarie for me ayt?"
"Ts. Okay, Tabs. See you later." and she hung up the phone.
"Quen, you’re up in 5." Marnie said.
"Okay." I said and gave my phone to my PA. "If tumawag uli si Julia, tell her na I’ll meet them after this. Okay?"
"Osige." sagot niya. I went to the backstage’s opening and when the last model got back, I entered the stage and walked my way. The crowd went wild when they saw me. Nagpalakpakan sila and took pictures.
I am Enrique Gil. A model, a dancer and an endorser. My dad died when I was 8 and I only have my mom and my bestfriend Julia. She is my bestest buddy ever since we were born. Kasi her mom and my mom are bestfriends kaya pati kami bestfriends na din. I call her Bru kasi naman when we were kids, sobrang ang dungis niya and her brothers would always call her bruhilda daw. So yun. Nahawa na ko. And she is boyish. Not a tomboy ha? But one of the boys. Kasi naman she grew up with her 3 brothers kaya brusko kumilos. Anyway. Kahit ganun yun, I love her pa din. She’s always there for me. Lalo na when I get into trouble sa school. Siya yung umaaway sa mga kaaway ko.
After ng show ko, I went to the coffee shop where Bru and Clarie are. I found them sitting on one corner of the shop kaya nilapitan ko sila.
"Hi girls!" I greeted them.
"Uy, Tabs!!" Bru said. "Aga mo atang natapos sa show mo?"
"Yeah. Di ko na hinintay yung closing eh. Boring naman dun wala ka."
"Hahaha. Sorry. Alam mo naman na we have to finish this eh."
"I understand. Nga pala, may new endorsement ako."
