"OK, half an hour is up, is everyone ready for their performances?" Mr. Schue walks in with a smile on his face excited to see what his students have come up with. Everyone nods turning to their partners with excited smiles.

"We are more than prepared Mr. Schuester and we insist on going first." Rachel says standing up and pulling Finn with her before anyone else gets the chance to object. "Even though we aren't each other's true soulmates, we still understand what it is like to be in love. We have chosen the perfect song to represent the feelings that comes with true and honest love." Rachel walks over to grab sheet music while Finn stands, awkwardly smiling at his classmates with a crooked grin.

"Ok... I guess that Rachel and Finn are going first, let's give them a hand guys," Mr. Schue hesitantly starts clapping and the rest of the class gives half-hearted applause.

Rachel and Finn immediately go into an over-enthusiastic version of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go on" with Rachel getting way too touchy feely with Finn making the rest of the class uncomfortable. Tina and Mike go next with a much classier version of "In Your Eyes" by: Peter Gabriel, and Puck and Mercedes sing "Halo" By: Beyonce. The rest of the Glee club sings their songs about what a soulmate means to them until it came to Kurt and Blaine's turn. When they get called up, they both rush to the front excitedly.

Without much introduction, they start into their song smiling and singing the lyrics flawlessly. About halfway through the song, Blaine lifts his arm to reach out towards the class, and their arms brushed against each other causing their chests to glow brightly through their shirts. Only a few of the members of the club had seen the glow before due to the limited physical contact the two keep at school. Although, now it is impossible for any of them not to notice because the glow was much too noticeable. Everyone is staring in awe at the two unwitting boys who have yet to notice because Blaine has his eyes closed and Kurt is looking up towards the ceiling getting lost in their song.

The two finish their song looking confused at the rest of the class who are still staring wide eyed at the pair. "Thank you boys for the wonderful performance, why don't you go take your seats," Mr. Schue says snapping everyone out of their daze and gaining back their attention.

Kurt and Blaine turn to each other confused, and take their seats, once again not noticing the glow of their chests since it had entirely disappeared from the brief contact that caused it.
