I've written you letters
That you'll never read
You'll never glimpse them
No matter how much you pleadI say I don't love you
But that is a lie
I'm longing to tell you
But I shouldn't even tryFor our love is doomed
It was from the start
I should never have let you
Anywhere near my heartOur present's against us
And so is our past
If we were ever to be
Would we really last?I want to believe
That yes, we will
But with head over heart
Our fate seems illMy heart cries with longing
My head with memories
I'll never love again
I'll never be freeA/N Hi, guys! So I wrote this poem a year ago for an English project. It's most definitely not my best, but to me, it was never written just for a grade. I hope you guys like it. ❤❤❤
