[UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION]
McKenna hadn't expected much when she made the decision to stay in Whitechapel, much less becoming some supernatural vigilante, fighting off werewolves and demons with her new friends.

It had been weeks since the incident on the eclipse, and since then everything seemed normal. Well, other than Benny making a few mistakes with his magic, even accidentally conjuring up a bunch of slugs one time.
The weeks hadn't been eventful at all, McKenna had enrolled in school, signing up for seven classes with everyone else. She really enjoyed going to school and making friends, she felt like she finally had a chance to live her life like a teenager, she wasn't looking over her shoulder for her brother every five minutes.
Evelyn even invited McKenna to stay with her, offering up a cluttered room, full of magical objects and books, but she had put in a new twin bed for her in the midst of the clutter.
The first week of staying there was awkward for her and Benny both. Given the kiss at the movie theater, and nothing else said about the incident after, it created a bit of weird tension. At the start of the second week though, when the slug incident happened, the two had quickly gotten over the awkward tension when they spent hours laughing over how ridiculous it was.
It wasn't just McKenna and Benny who became friends, it seemed like her, Sarah, Ethan, and Benny had formed a little supernatural friend group--with Rory occasionally popping in.
When it came to feeding, McKenna had even found a way to do so without harming anyone. On every Thursday, her and Rory waited for an ice cream truck that dispensed blood bags, which was just as weird as it sounded. Erica wasn't interested in their methods of feeding, but she had become more discreet with hers.
That's where she was now, sitting on a bench and waiting for her blood delivery. Normally Rory was here by now, but today he was running late. Just as McKenna picked up her phone to call him, she felt someone abruptly grab her shoulders. She screamed and jumped up from the bench, turning around to see who it was.
"Rory!" she shouted, watching him jump over the bench and sit down on it. "Not Rory, vampire ninja! I'm even working on my business card, see?" He pulled a business card out of his pocket and handed it to McKenna.
She realized that she had reacted a bit too dramatic, still shaken up from her encounter with Jesse only a few weeks ago.
She sat down on the bench, looking at the card and furrowing her brows. "Wow, this is," she started, looking up to see that Rory was gone again. She looked around for a second, shaking her head and shooting Sarah a text to let her know she was gonna be a bit late, and asked her to cover for her since they shared a first period.
Finally, the blood delivery showed up ten minutes late. She stood up when they arrived, passing a thermos through the window for them to fill, along with the money.
"Make that two," Rory said, miraculously popping up beside her again. She jumped, shooting him a glare. "Rory, do that again and I'll stake you," she threatened, shaking her head and thanking the vampire who passed her thermos back. With that, she pushed off of the ground and flew to school.
