ROLL THE DICE
Being born into
Either wealth
Or poverty, left
Without a dynasty
Never really bothered
Me. I use my funny
Side as a disguise.
Little white lies,
Did you know I
Once contemplated
Suicide? Ain't
Nobody witness a
Life as hard as mine.
I've clung onto this rope.
It's been so long! My
Hands hurt! God I've lost
Hope. I've witnessed an
Armed robbery, seen homies
Been accused of stolen property.
So tell me one more time. Are
You really as raw as me?
