Part 27 An old face returns

We were all in our rooms sleeping as it was late and since I was pregnant Raph wanted to make sure I got lots of rest for the baby "I want to make sure your alright since we don't have much medical equipment this time with everyone's injuries as we waited for ya ta come back" he explained as I went to sleep with him spooning me, it made me feel safer from all of this because he was still here with me and now I felt like nothing could ruin us right now as I slept the night away but with what would happen to me from being pregnant I knew it would be hard on Raph since things were smooth for my previous four, when I woke up the next day it was to feel Raph picking me up and dashing to the bathroom where I threw up in the toilet making him take care of me the whole time while the kids were with there uncle Donnie and April for the rest of the day "We need a bathroom closer to our room" I mumble making Raph nod as he brought me back to our bed as I was tired of facing the toilet now and just wanted to sleep some more.

A month went by I was hating everything about being pregnant now because of morning sickness that are getting worse as the days pass making Raph worry and for some reason early mood swings have been on me so Raph needs to make sure he does nothing to make them kick in on me from something he does (Texting someone, ending a call, coming back later then usual, leaving without saying a word) by making sure to tell me before hand what he's going to do making me calm down and not change moods as fast as he tries to do something "Jas, Don's comin' ova ta check on the kid" he said making me nod as he got me ready on the bed to be examined for the baby about how things are going, about an hour later Donnie walks in with a few things he could use to check on the baby and my morning sickness "Well the baby sounds healthy from what I can tell, but with how large your stomach got in one month could maybe turn to more then just one kid" Don explained making me smile at the news "What about the mornin' sickness?" Raph then asked making Donnie turn to a more unusual look making me worry.

"Jas gave birth to a daughter, a son and now twins, but with having no idea at how many kids she could be having her body is not accepting it and is right now rejecting the children's inside of her meaning if we can't figure out what's wrong with her then her body might kill them before even coming to forming enough to be close to be born" Don explained as I start to cry from the news, Raph guided Don out of the room as he asked his brother to take care of the kids for us making him nod before leaving as Raph then came over to my side to see and take care of me right now "I don't want them to die Raphie!! I want them to be born and to see what they could look like this time!!" I cried out in his arms as he held me close to him right now making him also start to cry from how much it hurts him to loose them right now "Maybe I can help with that" we look around the room to figure out who said that making me worry as I knew that voice well as i'm still haunted by it even now from what happened to me long ago.

Karai enters the room from the window making Raph hold me close to him as he got a sai ready to attack her if she did anything to me or the babie's, she stopped the moment he growled at her for taking a step closer to us making her raise her hands in defence making me move closer to Raph for protection that he gives by making me understand that nothing would happen to me or our children right now with him here "I would like to help you with your problem and make sure it stays safe for you to have more in the future" she said making me turn to Raph so he could talk to her about this "Start talking" he growled making her nod "Shredder is dead, the foot and Chaplin with me have moved around to be safe and so far the only place not contaminated is Japan, we can take you all there to live in and help Jasmine to be better and have a safe birth and to have more children in the future if she so wishes with you, but you must make a choice by tomorrow" she said making him nod before she left to come back at some point tomorrow making me tremble in fear about this.

"I can't handle this" I whisper as Raph holds me close into his arms as we go find the others to tell them everything that happened just now, once he got the others in one room he told them everything making Donnie think about it for a bit while Raph tries to comfort me at the moment while the others only talk to one another about all of this and with what Karai just told us "I don't think we can trust her, with everything she did to us and mostly Jas she could be lying and only trying to get the unborn kids" April said making me tremble in fear which made Raph hold me even closer to him "Yeah but we don't even know her, so we can't really agree we you there April since she did nothing to us" Kat explained as the other agreed with her words, Donnie turned to us looking like he was still slightly thinking before talking to us "We should wait until tomorrow, when she comes back we can face her and make her talk about all of this since we do need answer as to why she's trying to help us right now of all times to even help Jas and with what she could be facing soon, then once we hear what she needs to say we make a decision from Jas who will decided what to do" he explained making me nod to his words as I hope that this goes all well for us.

That night it was nothing but easy for me to get some sleep because the thought of seeing Karai again made me want to just "Babe?" I turn to look at Raph who was now coming over to me as my thoughts stopped as I see him "Are ya ok?" he asks making me look at him for a moment as I notice that I was now seated at the corner edge of the bed away from him "Sorry, thinking" I say simply making him nod as he uses a blanket to cover me a bit so as to keep me warm at the moment he looks at me "Babe, I know it's hard on ya but ya gotta understand that we can't live like this anymore, we need to be happy and safe for everyone now and this can't happen if we stay here" he explained making me nod to him as I made my choice as to what we should do "Tell the others in the morning to pack everything, were going to Japan with Karai" I said to him which made him nod with a smile making me smile back to him about this right now before he picks me up gently to get back into the bed to sleep until morning.

We had packed everything and waited for Karai to come with some vans to get going to Japan, she was happy when I told her we would go with her but Raph made sure to stay close to me the whole time we got ready and left while making sure I do nothing, Donnie, April and the kids were in the van me and Raph were in as Karai was also inside to talk to us I wasn't all that awake because of the strain I was in from the kids inside of me so Raph made me sleep by his side while he spoke to her and watching the kids making me sleep the whole drive to the plane to Japan as he carried me inside of it as  it flew up to get going for Japan making me wonder what was waiting for us there when I woke up slightly during the moment he carried me and sat me on his lap on the plane.
