Are you a DC or a Marvel fan?
Who is your favorite character from either one?

Marvel, most definitely.

I can say, though, that I am basing this mostly off the movie franchises. I don't read the comics. I know some but very little about said comics.

That being said, I like the Marvel movies more and it's not just because there's only like four characters with their own movies.

I like Marvel more because not only do they have a wide range of characters with intricate backgrounds, family stories, and lives, but I also like they way their movies are set up.

I like that every single movie is tied into another one way or another. I like that, even if they don't interact on screen, all the characters know each other and all of that. And I like the references to events we don't even know about that happen off screen.

I just like how it was set up and how all of the movies are coming together. I'm super excited for all of the superhero movies coming out this year, too.

Now, with DC, I just don't like their movies. They've rebooted Batman and Superman a billion times and the stories are almost always the same. Their Wonder Woman stuff is cool, but they only had like one TV show back in like the seventies or something. I do like their animated series and their new rebooted TV takes on all these superheros is awesome. I like a lot of them.

I just think that Marvel does a better job with the movie/TV part of their franchise. And seeing as that's most of what I know about these superheros, that's what I'm going to judge the companies on.

I know you're asking what my favorite character from the Marvel universe is since that's what I chose as my favorite, but I'm going to give you my favorite from both sides.

With Marvel, I'm at a tossup between Bucky Barnes and Groot.

I honestly like Bucky because I can kinda relate to him. Throughout the whole series, he just wants to live a simple life and be left alone by everyone. He was drafted into the army so he couldn't really say no to that. But even after all the experimenting and brainwashing and everything, he got out and just wanted to rebuild the shambles of his life. I can relate to that a lot and I'm sure a lot of demigods can agree with me.

I like Groot because he's a freaking badass in the simplest way. He's just a chill tree that is friends with a raccoon who is like nice and quiet and all that 24/7. But he's actually wicked powerful and could kill like everyone whenever he wanted. Not to mention Baby Groot is the cutest thing on the planet (other than my daughter).

With DC, my favorite character is by far Wonder Woman. She's the definition of badass. She's strong, she's quick, she's a great leader, and her and Batman have that thing going on or whatever. She's amazing without any incredible powers or anything. Like seriously, she's just an Amazon woman. That's all.

That ended up being a lot longer than I thought it would be.
