Chapter 6 Attack and The Voice

Well my fellow pack members, I have finally updated. It is taking much longer to upload chapters because I am trying to put a lot of effort in these. Maybe a few chapters will be really longer in the future but for right now I am just going to stick with the max of at least 3,000 words. But anyway here is the next chapter. Above is Braxton's wolf. It's such a unique color.

Braxton's POV

I am in so much pain. So much pain.

"Can we please stop watching Spongebob please" I cried. Ryder was currently meeting with another alpha, who was much nicer than my old alpha, to maybe become allies. So I was stuck with Shanty for a few hours and I have been stuck watching Spongebob for almost 3 hours. I don't understand why kids like this show so much. "But it is just getting good" Shanty pouted. "He's collecting snails and becoming a woman. How is this getting any better" I asked confused. "Adults are so ignorant to the wonders of bikini bottom" she sighed and turned the television off. "I don't think that's it" Boris laughed. "Well, what would you like to do now" she asked. "Ryder will be busy for a while so how about we head outside for a bit" I suggested. "RUN" Boris cheered. "That would feel nice" I agreed. "Lets go for a run" I asked shanty. "That sounds nice" shanty smiled softly and leaped off the couch. We left the house and headed for the forest in the backyard. Tyler was outside training the young warriors and saw us coming. "Oh hi Braxton. Shanty. Where you two off to" Tyler asked and ruffled shanty's hair as he lifted her up. "We are going on a run" Shanty cheered. "Does Ryder know" he asked. I blinked and laughed nervously. "I didn't think about that" I sighed. "I'll tell him. He would probably freak if he couldn't find you" Tyler laughed. I could see his eyes daze as he was using the mind link. "He said it is fine but just don't go too far. He is almost done so he wants to meet up" Tyler announced. "Okay that is fine" I smiled, relaxing that he didn't get angry for us not telling him. "Come on, lets run" Shanty hopped. "Okay Okay I'm coming" I chuckled and waved to Tyler as he went back to training. We walked for a little bit and stopped. I listened very intently to make sure that we were alone. All I could hear were the birds and some scampering squirrels. It looked safe. 

"Okay we can shift now" I told shanty. Shanty giggled and went behind a tree. I stripped down into my birthday suit and closed my eyes. I could hear and feel my bones breaking. This would be like the third time I have shifted my whole life, so it is still uncomfortable for me. When I opened my eyes, I could see way better and I could smell even the tiniest of fragrances in the forest. Boris stretched his legs, finally being able to shift. A small gray wolf bounded up to me and ran in between my legs. She was so full of energy and was yipping. I bumped her with my tail and nodded further into the forest to tell her we were moving. She wagged her tail and soon sprinted out in front of me. It only took a few seconds to catch up to her but she was still moving pretty fast. We jumped over logs and bushes, barking at birds in our path until they scattered. She would zig zag in front of me, trying to get me to chase her. I would always act like she was faster and just out of my reach. After about 20 minutes we came to a small pond with some ducks swimming casually. We decided to take a break and just relax. "Running is the best. I hated being so trapped" Boris sighed. "Me too buddy" I responded and closed my eyes. I could feel myself starting to drift but then I heard the sound of a twig breaking. I jumped up and growled. A midnight black wolf trotted out of the shrubs and bark. It took me a second until I realized that it was Ryder. I never saw him in wolf form before. He was so beautiful. He walked up to me and rubbed against my side. I could hear Boris purring and I relaxed as the sparks spread across my body. He softly pulled at my ear and bowed with his tail wagging. I jumped on his back and lightly pulled on his ear. We tumbled about, play fighting. His wolf was so huge. Almost seven feet tall just from the shoulder. So he would lean on me and lay on me when I collapsed under his heavy ass. "This is not comfortable man" I pouted. He only snorted and did a wolfish smirk.
