But anyway, I took my exam so I'm good. Now here is the next chapter. I will let you guys know now, there is another story and it will continue on to the next chapter which is half done.
Braxton's POV
Maybe this is a little harsh, but I felt so much better with her gone. I don't have to worry about her saying anything rude to me anymore. But I still feel bad. This was her home. She was raised here. Her family is here. And I just made it impossible for her to ever see them again. "Don't make me feel bad too" Boris grumbled. "Sorry, I am just unsure if doing that was the right thing" I sighed. "She tried to attack our mate and kill our child" Boris growled. "And that I will never forgive but maybe we should have just thrown her in the cell for a few months or made her an omega. Not kick her out of the pack where no one is really missing her. I don't know" I sighed and laid back on the bed. "You are the Luna. You do what is right for the pack and yourself. If that bitch was nothing but trouble then to hell with her" Boris yelled. "No need to yell, I am like right next to you man" I chuckled. "Whatever, You know i'm right" he laughed. "You usually are huh" I smirked. Ryder was still outside watching everyone train. I knew he wanted to join but he couldn't for a while. Not with the baby on the way. The baby.
Never thought I would become a father so soon or at all for that matter. It still feels so surreal. Almost like a dream that I don't want to end. I can have a family. But I will have to protect that family soon. From whoever wants to harm me and my mother. Yeah, I finally accepted it. My mother is the moon goddess and My father is one of the very original werewolves. Didn't know my heritage was so rich. ...Where did I get the red eyes from? "Both my parents have blue eyes" I questioned. "From your grandpa. He had heterochromia iridium. One eye was red while the other was a blue" Boris announced. "How do you know such a big word? and how do you know what my grandpa looked liked" I asked. "I'm smart and I have been around longer than you have" he yelled and I could feel him pouting. "Yeah Yeah" I chuckled.
I decided that a quick nap would do me some good right now. I got comfy and grabbed Ryder's pillow. His scent was so strong and it quickly put me to sleep. When I woke up, I was back in that field again. This time, I wasn't freaking out. I wondered around until I saw her sitting by a lake. "Hey mom" the word kind of foreign on my mouth because it's been so long. "Hello, come. have a seat with me" She smiled calmly. The grass was soft and made for an excellent cushion. "Was there something you wanted to talk about?" I asked. She seemed to think about it for a minute. "There was but I also wanted to just spend time with you. I do not wish for the only times we talk for it to be about danger" She smiled. I nodded my head in agreement. "So what is it?" I smiled. "I want to tell you a story" She said. "A story" I questioned. "Yes...about the time I met a night stalker" she whispered. "What are night stalkers?" I asked. She sighed. "They are terrible creatures that gain power from the torment of others. There scent is so minuscule that it is hard to even identify one" She informed me. "I never heard of them before" I said. "I thought that they all had died but it seems that...at least one still remains" She grumbled. "What is the story" I asked. "It was before my family moved to the village where I met your father. I was only there for a short year but it was the most terrifying year" She sighed.
-Far in the past- Moon Goddess's POV
I lived in a normal boring village. The houses were not of luxury standards but it was livable. The homes were little and people were always listening in on other people's lives, but that was normal.it was a backwoods village with hardly anything to do. Men would do what men do. Sit around, smoke, joke, and everything else that seemed useless. Old women would simply gossip and knit on the porch as if that was their only purpose in life now that they have grown old. Someone could stub their toe and people would be rushing to their homes with first aid and food like they just got run down by their horse. It was ridiculous but that was how it was. But everything wasn't perfect in this little town. There was a house on the corner that no one ever went to. It was the only house that always had an untrimmed yard and trash piling up by the side of the building even though no one lived there. The fence was rotten and would rock with just the slightest of gust of wind. Broken windows and holes in the walls. There was the eeriness of a clown under a light post at night when you looked at that rotten home. it was the kind of house that just gave you nightmares. Nightmares of demons and monsters crawling on the walls, looking for blood. Looking for someone to eat. I can't even count how many times I thought I saw a shadow wondering the house. The house had been vacant for years, even before the neighborhood was built. It was always there, untouched out of fear.
