Your POV

"Soda! Hurry up! You're going to miss Star walking!" Star is our little girl we had after we got married. Soda picked her name sense he thought she was as bright as a star. Star has icy blue eyes and blond hair with freckles scattered across her little face. We were watching Star crawl on the living room floor. Once Soda got up to get us some snacks she practiced walking. Except this time she took actual steps.

Soda appeared in the living room in enough time to see she made her way in front of me. "Good job baby! I'm so proud of you!" "Mama!" Giggling away. Soda came and picked her up, kissing her forehead. Soon after her little adventure she started to cry. "Oh. Poor baby. I bet you're sleepy, you haven't taken your nap for the day. Soda you want to put her down or me?" "I can do it." He got up, took her out of my arms, without another word.

Somethings bothering him and I'm going to figure it out even if it kills me. I went upstairs heading towards our bedroom. "Hey babe. I'm going to be in the bedroom. I'll set us up a movie to watch. How's John Wick sound?" "All right. I'll be in there, just give me a few minutes. I'll probably just take a nap myself." Since Soda lost his job at the DX he's been sleeping more often. I put John Wick on waiting for Soda. When he came in he went to the bathroom, changing clothes. He walked out in sweat pants. Soda came and laid down next to me. "Hi Baby." I said while kissing his cheek. "Mhm. " Soda and I never get time with each other anymore since Star was born.

"Baby, what's bothering you?" Getting serious now. "Nothing, why would something be bothering me?" "Ever since you lost your job, you've been moping and depressed. I'm worried about you." "It's nothing Y/N. Don't worry about it." "So there is something. You need to tell me, I don't like this you. We are a team
and we are here to help each other. Tell me so we can fix this. "

"It can't be fixed. So there's nothing to talk about." "What can't be fixed?" "Ever since I lost my job I've realized I can no longer support you and Star. The bills for the house aren't cheap, you know that. And there is nothing I can do to support you guys. I'm useless now. I have no purpose." It broke my heart to hear him say that he had no purpose.

"Oh, Soda baby, you have so much purpose. Your a father to our beautiful baby girl. Your my husband and I couldn't imagine my life without you. As for your job, you know the boys and I are doing everything in our power to find you a new one, Steve even tried getting your old one back. We won't stop till you have a job. I never want to hear you say you have no purpose again. Ok?" Soda brought his hand to my cheek, wiping away the tears that I didn't know were there.

"You promise we're going to get me a job?" "Of course baby, we will get you a job and you can go back to working everyday. " "I love you." Soda said kissing my lips. "I love you too." I cuddled closer to Soda and pressed play on the movie. Midway through the movie, Star started to cry. I got up and went to the nursery, picking her up and bringing her to Soda and I's room. I tried to get her to relax, but it wasn't working. "I think Star wants her daddy." Soda chuckled and took her out of my arms. He laid her on his chest and she instantly went back to sleep. "She's such a daddy's girl."

"She's my little girl." Laying her in between us. I started to fake pout, but soon smiled when Soda kissed my lips. "I love you Sodapop." "I love you Y/N." And we finished watching our movie, then we all took a nice long nap.
