HER STORY

I write of a story
One no one dares to tell
One of the past somewhere in history
When she had no power to talk
When her womanhood was proved through a cut
When her back never ceased to bend
But she still survived

This is a masterpiece
Of her story
Making the world a favourable place for her
This is a story
Of times changing
And her power rising
As she takes over and gives life a meaning
Through the tuff times she never lost her soul
And she still have more to gain
She will never be pulled down again

This is a legend
Of her never giving up
And it bares the fact that she knows
The difference between braids and brains
And above all she knows she got lots of choices
And in her troubles
there is more than light at the end of the tunnel
From slavery she is now queening..,
