Oakley walked to her pillow and promptly sat on her face waving his tail proudly in the air. She coughed and sat up as her alarm went off sending Oakley tumbling into her lap.
"Damn fluff ball," Kasey scoffed as the caramel colored cat scrambled off of her bed. The sun had barely reached the top of the apartment complex building across the street. The sun shone down into her messy room making the piles of pictures look like tiny mountains. She looked at her clock and instantly remembered the many times she instinctively hit the "snooze" button on her old alarm clock.
After a rushed morning routine and half-cooked oatmeal Kasey was already waving down a taxi. The local park was an ideal spot for family pictures and Lidia had the shortcuts practically written on her brain itself.
"Mornin' hun, running ten minutes late I see?" She looked through her mirror which had been messily glued to the old taxi's roof with chewing gum.
"Yeah, I thought it was Friday but Oakley reminded me," she pictured the sassy cat knocking her picture frames over like he usually does.
"That cat sounds like some sort a' little person to ya'," Lidia laughed as she handed Kasey her usual morning coffee. Lidia never finishes her coffee and always has half a cup for Kasey to down before her morning shoots.
"Thanks Lia, I never understand how you manage to be at my building at the right time every morning," Kasey sipped at her coffee.
"Maybe it's a' gift or a' curse," Lidia laughed as the taxi came to a stop at the south end of the park.
"Thanks Lia, see you tomorrow, I'll bring you breakfast too if I don't forget!" Kasey waved at the taxi lady as she drove off.

The family thanked her and payed her in thank-you's for now until they received the pictures. She tucked her bulky camera back into its case and took out her small Polaroid camera. She often like to take sample pictures which she hung on her wall. She focused on the morning dew sitting perfectly on a bush. As the click of the camera went off a body slammed into her. The girl looked down from on top of her as she held onto a frisbee awkwardly. The picture popped out of the bottom of the camera and the stranger took the picture and looked at it. She smiled and Kasey felt her face go red as she spoke.
"Cute!" the girl handed her back the picture and walked back to where her friend's were waiting for her. Kasey looked at the picture with a shocked and almost gleeful stare. The picture was almost perfect surprisingly and the mystery girl was even more perfect.
