That one picture was the only one Kasey took that Saturday. At the park she couldn't help but watch the girl throw the frisbee with her friends. She was so pretty and staring couldn't be prevented. Kasey would look at the picture and then back the girl for what must have been hours because the girl and her friends left as the sun sat low on the horizon after a long afternoon. Kasey was devastated when the mystery girl left the park. As soon as their car turned the corner Kasey snapped out of her dazed state and she sprawled out across the grass to look up at the sky.
"Holy shit," she whispered to herself as she thought of how stupid she probably looked gawking at that girl all day. Soon Kasey was rolling on the grass hugging the picture and laughing to herself."Look Oakley, I swear she was like super hot!" Kasey said as her cat meowed back.
"Just look at her, she's like, like, perfect!" Oakley stretched out on the couch in reply.
"You're right, I need to tell someone about this before I forget," Kasey scrambled to grab her phone from the kitchen where it was charging. As she dialed the number Oakley sat on the coffee table engulfing the TV remote in fluff.
"What do you want this time?" her friend said jokingly.
"Dude, I'm like, soooooo gay," Kasey responded jumped on her couch.
"I meant what's new you dummy," the girl laughed.
"Isabelle. She was like, perfect. Perfect!!" Kasey squealed into the phone.
"You squealed, this must be serious then!" Isabelle answered.
"She was the prettiest girl I've ever seen--"
"Hey!"
"Besides you fam. But she had the most beautiful brown hair and her skin was soft and sun kissed like an angel's!" Kasey said as a giddy smile was placed on her face.
"You felt her skin?"
"No! I can just tell from the picture I took of her!"
"You stalked her and then took her picture?!"
"Noooooo! It was an accident but the picture somehow came out amazing!" Kasey smiled petting Oakley with her foot.
"Dude, did you get her number?"
"No..."
"No?! How else are you going to find her, marry her, adopt four cat babies, and grow old with her?!" Isabelle asked frantically.
"I have no idea," Kasey sighed and looked out her window as the stars shone over the apartment building across the street. She observed as a couple kisses on the balcony, as an old woman trimmed a potted plant, and a girl looked out at the stars. Suddenly Kasey froze.
"Bella, I know how I can find her."
"How? You never even got an address!" Bella replied confused.
"I can just look out my window," Kasey took a quick picture of the girl in her nightgown looking up at the stars and sent it to Bella.
"Bro, you're gonna be so obsessed with her."
"And I'll enjoy every second of it."
