Kasey had memorized her schedule completely after a few days of somewhat spying on the mystery girl. She came out to her balcony every morning after 7:30 before disappearing till 12:45 when she ate lunch and threw food at the pigeons as they flew by. At night she would sit on her lawn chair bundled in a blanket and read while she ate late night snacks.
"Is that all you do all day when you aren't working?" Bella said looking up from her sketchbook. Kasey shook her head and looked at her friend.
"Huh?"
"Oh god you are TOTALLY obsessed!" Bella shook Kasey's shoulders and she teased her.
"I'm sorry, I just can't help it," Kasey sighed as she rolled onto her back.
"I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just think it's a bit weird that you don't even know her name and you're already writing away in your little book thing."
"I'm not that obsessed!" Kasey clutched onto her notebook defensively. Bella sighed.
"How many pages?"
"13..."
"Haha! I'd think you'd had her whole day schedule written down by now!"
"Uh..."
"Duuuuuuude," Bella hopped off the bed and showed Kasey the drawing she had been working on vigorously since she got there.
"Is that me?" Kasey snorted looking at the small doodle-Kasey who had the most love struck face she'd ever seen plastered across her cartoon face.
"Yup, and that's the mystery girl reading her Harry Potter."
"How could you tell it's Harry Potter, you can't even read the giant title from here," Kasey asked.
"I can tell because of the Slytherin scarf, Harry's glasses, and Hogwarts house blanket."
"Oh," Kasey quickly added each detail into her magical book full of random mystery girl facts. She couldn't help giggle as she thought of the girl's smile as she looked at Kasey's accidental picture of her.
"You're making the face!!" Bella shouted and poked Kasey's cheek.
"What face? You always say I make a face but what does it even look like?
"Like dreams!" Bella exclaimed waving her hands in a rainbow shape. "You need to hurry up and make a move!"
"How, I don't even know her name!" Kasey said looking doubtful.
"Then that's a start."
