The king of Solaria entered the throne room where his wife sat reading a book. Thorn recognized it as a book on magic considering all books on magic pages were lined with a blue line. It was the work of the Templars to be able to identify magister.
Queen Leera seemed too immersed in her book; she didn't even notice her husband approaching. The sight of his wife caused him to smile as he made his way slowly and quietly behind the thrones.
"Hello" He whispered in her ear causing her to jump and drop her book.
"You scared me!" She gasped placing a hand on her chest, slapping his arm lightly with the other "if I didn't recognize your voice you would've been dead by now!"
"I don't doubt that, love" he said chuckling lightly "The last time I've seen you this focused on something was when we first became king and queen" He said circling the chair as he reached down and picked up her book kneeling in front of her grabbing one of her hands in his and placing a kiss on it before he handed the book over to her. He winked at his queen causing her to smile shyly as she grabbed the book from his hands.
"Well someone needed to know the history of the kingdom, I didn't see you taking the time to do so" She said teasingly
"I didn't need to" he said standing and moving to his throne, He sat on the arm rest so he could be closer to her. "I had a beautiful wife to teach it to me.. And we studied allllll night" he said seductively in her ear causing a shiver to run down her spine. He grabbed a strand of her fiery red hair and slowly tucked it behind her ear so he can see the face of his blushing queen. She turned her head to face him, now there was but a few inches between them. The moment he moved in to kiss her, the doors of the throne room flew open.
"Have you no shame your majesty..." at the same time two men walked into the chamber.
The man on the left was quite taller and broader than the king, his black hair contrasted with his pale skin. His features were very distinct, his jaw was defined and his stubble was not too thick and hardly there. He wore a brown tunic embellished with gold cross laces
The other was quite tall, about the same height as the king and muscular but not overly so; he was dressed in a deep blue tunic that closed with black belts, his skin was light also similar to the King of Solaria's but the man had light brown hair just beginning to grey on the sides and hazel eyes that creased when he smiled towards the king and queen showing his age which was but a few years older than the king.
"Nathan? Damon?" The king smiled vigorously as he stood quickly from his chair to greet the duo
"Really... right here in the throne room... there's a reason private quarters exists..." The older one teased heading towards the table on the left side of the room and began picking grapes to eat and tossing an apple towards the man he came with.
"Leave them alone Nathan, He is the king after all he may do it when and where he pleases" The man smirked as he caught the apple then took a bite.
"And that's the king's fruit your helping yourselves to I might add" Thorn smiled at the sight of the men.
"We're the ones who came a long way just to see our beloved brother; we were beginning to think you forgot about us" Nathan spoke feigning sadness
"You know that will never happen" Thorn added "I've just been busy with everything here"
"We know Thorn, Nathan was just joking" Damon said noticing Leera sitting there. "Leera, My apologies dear for not greeting you properly"
"No no, it's perfectly fine Damon" She smiled "We are family it is not necessary"
