I can't tell you how long he stayed there for. I simply cannot remember. It was a long time though, I think. I remember him reading me a story, something about... about... ugh... I can't remember. I don't know if he's still here, if he is he's not speaking. I can hear someone breathing though, but it probably won't be him. Maybe someone is supervising me, waiting for me to wake up.
How long have I been like this? I can't remember the last time I saw Victor, in fact, I can't remember anything. The only thing I can remember is... Victor. What was my job? What age am I? Oh, someone entered the room. I wonder who it is?
"Yuri? How are you, sweetheart?" Victor says to me while combing my hair with his cold, thin fingers. I hear him sigh a long sigh. I wish I could tell him all about what has happened to me. I know he still loves me after the... thing. Was that even real? I can't ever imagine Victor treating me like that, so I'm going to guess, and really hope, it was all a dream. A very bad dream.
"There's something I've been meaning to ask you. I just haven't felt this was the right time though, seeing as you're in... this state." Victor explains as he strokes my face slowly. I wonder what he wants to ask me. I wish I could tell him how much I love him.
"Actually, I'm not too sure if I should ask you, just in case you don't wake up." He says, just managing to get the words out. Wait... is he saying what I think he's saying? That I might not... make it? Tears begin rolling down my cheeks. I'm crying! This is my first sort of communication with the outside world since about two weeks ago? Why do I even try, I can't remember anything. This is all I really know now, I wonder what it'll be like going back to normal life. If I do, that is. Victor immediately notices my tears and starts weeping.
"Don't worry Yuri, you'll make it. I didn't mean to scare you." Victor reassures me through his whimpers. But I just can't stop crying no matter how hard I try.
"I'm going to get someone. I'll be back in a second." Victor sniffles. I hear him pull back the hospital curtain and swiftly walk away. My crying suddenly stops. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but by the time Victor had brought someone to me, I was completely fine. I think he left after that, I can't remember hearing any voices since.
