I don't know what the fuck I'm doing anymore guys! Am I doing good?
------------------------Andrew
Andrew's Saturday wasn't much better than Briar's Saturday. After waking up,( in a bed full of used tissues and empty lotion bottles), he stretched, enjoying the morning. Hearing yelling for the living area, he gets up.
Briar is sitting at the table with his head in his arms. The sight breaks my heart. I can only take it so much to see his shoulders shake before coming up behind him to wrap my arms around his wide set shoulder for comfort. Thank god he doesn't push me away, but instead leans into the embrace. I sigh into his ear.
He fits in my arms like two matching puzzle pieces. It feels right to be sitting in the middle of the living/dinning room area with a now crying Briar sitting comfortably in my arms.
I rub circles on his back until he calms down.
What seems like hour later, he shimmies out of my arms and heads to his room. Before closing the door he gives me a bright smile. I can clearly see the tear tracks on his cheeks, but I just smile back.
He's okay. For now anyway.
Sighing again, I maneuver my way around the kitchen. Breakfast consisted of cereal. I literally can't cook. I burn water. Cooking is Briar's expertise, so I try to stay out of the kitchen. But he is t really feeling the greatest, so I really don't feel like telling him to make me eggs and bacon.
That's just cruel.
So Frosted Flakes it is!
Suddenly, my ass starts to vibrate, and I jump. I almost forgot I quickly shoved my phone in my pocket before coming out. I open the screen with my Touch ID.
"Hey Mom, how's it going?"
"Hey baby! It is good. How's college?"
"Good. My roommate is a werewolf." I say nonchalantly.
"Oh really! Is he cute?"
"Very."
"Well that's good. So I called about Thanksgiving. Your coming right?" She sounds like she thinks I would refuse.
"Yeah. Um....about that." I pause for dramatic effect. I can barely hear her breathing. "I'm bringing my roommate."
"Oh okay. No problem. May I ask why?"
"He isn't allowed at his house for Thanksgiving because his dad practically disowned him for being gay and a 'failure'" I made air quotes even though she couldn't see me. She did however detect the sarcasm in my voice.
"That's horrible! Sure hun, he has a place at the table if he wants it. I'll make sure it's right next to yours." I choke on my saliva. She giggles.
"Mom! No!"
"So you don't want him to sit by you?"
I shift uncomfortably. "I never said that." I mutter, but of course she heard it. Damn you vampire hearing.
"Then stop complaining. I got to go Andrew. Love you!"
"Love you too mom. Tell dad I said hi and I love him. See you soon."
"Okay I will! Bye!" Was the last thing I heard before hanging up.
About a half an hour later and about three bowls of cereal, I freeze.
I just invited my crush.
To thanksgiving.
With my family!
No to tell him he can come over for thanksgiving with over 50 different vampire that will probably hate his guts, even if he wasn't a werewolf.
Oh Joy!
