Does anyone else like Hailstorm? They are like one of my favorite bands. If you haven't heard of them you should check them out. My favorite song of theirs is The Familiar Taste of Poison, although it may be a remake.....

"I'm sure you have grabbed everything you need, Andrew." Briar said exasperated. I barely hear him over my own rushing around trying to pack everything.

"No I don't! I need to make a good impression!" I say, almost in hysterics. I don't know why I am on the verge of crying, but I am.

"Babe, I'm pretty sure you don't need your violin, flute, guitar, and tambourine."

I glare at him and put away all the instruments except for my violin. "Fine, you win. I will however, take my violin for relaxation purposes." Packing my violin carefully into the case along with sheet music and the bow, I can't help but feel I'm taking this a little over the top.

I jump when warm hands start caressing my shoulders and back. I soon relax into the broad, warm chest that is my boyfriend. Briar wraps his arms around my lithe figure.

"It's going to be fine. Everyone will love you, and my mother is dying to meet you in person. The only person you need to watch out for is my father." Briar cringed and hugged me tighter. I hummed to comfort him and put my hand on top of his.

"I know, I just can't help it. I've always tried to make a good impression. I guess it can't be helped though." I say sheepishly and scratch the back of my neck. A knock on the door to the dorm broke the moment.

Briar sighed before yelling that they were coming. I chuckled before throwing in some drawing pencils before zipping up my suitcase and following Briar to the living area. He picked up his suitcase, which was waiting at the door, and we made our way down the hall and out of the building toward the parking lot.

"There you are!" Zarriah yelled from her car. I gave her a big hug and nodded my head at Abram and Dawson, who were casually leaning up against the car. Briar went to join them and did some kind of 'bro-shake' with Dawson, which ended up with Dawson in a head lock and Briar giving him a noogie.

"They are like animals." I hear Zarriah mumble under her breathe. I laugh.

"Yeah but they are our animals." I say back with a smile.

"Alright! Into the car with ya!" I say in my best commanding voice.

Briar blows a raspberry at me, but with a look from Zarriah, he gets into the car without another complaint.

Before I could be roped into an argument about food, curtesy of Dawson baiting Briar, I slipped in my ear buds and turned up the volume on my phone. I watched the scenery go by as we drove away from the college campus.

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen started playing and I started to sing softly to myself and tap my fingers when the beat started to pick up. I knew all the words by heart because when I was little I would play this song over and over again.

In other words, it got drilled into my head.

I was over halfway into the song when I felt three pairs of eyes looking at the back of my head.  I turned around only to see Abram, Dawson, and Briar looking at me. I look over to Zarriah, who even though was looking at the road, I could tell was listening to me.

Finally, I took out one of my ear buds after I paused my song, which was currently My Name by Shinedown. I turned red as a fire truck when I heard the music in the car.

Nothing was playing.

"C-can I help you?" I ask and I wince when I stutter ever so slightly.

"Nope," Zar said. I knew she was listening.
