Chapter 24: Trip to Orlando

Hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while it's just that I was grounded.

Camille's POV

*2 months later*

October 28

I woke me the next morning and took a shower then I got dressed. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I opened the fridge, grabbed some yogurt and poured myself a cup juice. Then Kyla walked in.

"Hey girl" I said.

"Hey"

"What do you want for your almost two month starting school anniversary breakfast?" 

"It has been almost two months hasn't it"

"Yep now what do you want for breakfast?"

"Waffles"

"Alright but I ain't making them so you're getting frozen chocolate chips ones instead"

"That's fine and man you're lazy"

"Well I might have but we got up later then usual" we finished eating and I went to do my hair and make-up while Kyla took a shower. Then my FaceTime went off. It was Rocky.

"Hey baby. What's new?"

"Not much. We just started tour on Saturday" he said. 

"Well that's good. Where are you guys?"

"We have a show tonight in Huntington then tomorrow we head to Chicago. We have a day off tomorrow and then playing a show on Wednesday" 

"Oh nice where are you guys playing?" 

"House of blues"

"Baby that's great. Well I gotta go my classes start soon"

"Okay have fun"

"Thanks, I'll text you later if I can" I said and he nodded. 

"Bye sexy"

"Bye Rocky" I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed my book bag. 

"Alright let's go Kyla" I walked out to the car and started it. Kyla got in the car and I started driving to school. 

*Skip the first two periods*

I walk into the cafeteria and sat down. I waited for Kyla to come since we didn't have our second period together. 

"Camille! Camille!"

"What is it Kyla?"

"You won't believe what just happened!"

"What happen?" I said then my phone rang.

"What's wrong Rocky?"

"Umm have you seen my..."

"No Rocky haven't seen whatever your looking for"

"I was going to say my girlfriend cause I miss her like crazy" 

"Aww I miss you too baby" 

"Camille we have a practice now" Kyla said.

"What! No one told me"

"Me either" she replied. 

"Let me guess you have to go"

"Yeah sorry baby I have a rehearsal no one told me about. I love you Rocky so don't think I'm blowing you off to do other things okay" 

"Alright" he replied. 

"I love you Rocky"

"Love you too" I hung up the phone and made our way to the change rooms outside the dance studio. Kyla and I walked in to the studio and everyone looked at us.

"It's about time" Jennifer said.

"Sorry no one told us. Isabel just texted me a few minutes ago asking where we were" Kyla said. 

"Alright so I have some exciting news... We're going on tour!" Haliey said. 

"What! This is awesome!" we all screamed. 

"When is it?" Jennifer asked.

"Some time around Christmas" Hailey replied. I can't believe this, we're going on tour. But it's around Christmas. The time I was suppose to spend with the Lynch's. We practiced till the end of lunch then me and Kyla made our way to science. We took our seats and she leaned over to me.

"Hey why are you so sad?"

"I'm not" I replied. Then the bell rang. 

"Please take your seats" Mr. Henderson said.

"Yeah you are" Kyla said. 

"Miss Smith the bell has rung and class has started your mouth should be closed" Mr. Henderson said. I started laughing then my phone went off.

*Why are you so sad?"

*I'm not*

*Yeah you are. You were fine before dance* 

*Fine it's just that the tour is around Christmas and I was going to go to Keystone to spend time with my boyfriend"

*Aww I'm sorry I will get you home for Christmas*

*Aww thanks Kyla*

We finished our last two periods and we go in my car. We arrived back at our apartment and I went straight to the kitchen.

"Man I'm so hungry" I said as I opened the fridge.

"Haven't you eaten anything at all today?"

"Yeah a little at lunch but then we had that dance practice remember" I said and she nodded. Then my phone rang. 

"Hey Delly what's up"

"Not much you?"

"Making a sandwich"

"Sounds fun"

"Yeah. So what's up"

"I was calling to about our plans for this weekend"

"Oh right I totally forgot"

"Did you really?" she asked.

"No of course not how could I forget my boyfriend's birthday"

"Well we're in New York today and leaving for Chicago tomorrow"

"Alright when are you guys arriving in Orlando?" 

"Um we are arriving in Orlando on Thursday morning"

"Okay well I'll be there Thursday evening then" I replied.

"Alright well I'll see you then"

"See you then. Bye Delly" 

"Bye Camille"

"Who was that?" Kyla asked.

"Oh that was my boyfriend's sister. We are planing for me to surprise him on his birthday" 

"Oh that's sounds like fun"

"Hey you should come with"

"Really? Oh Camille I couldn't"

"Yes you could I'm inviting you for a fun weekend"

"Alright I guess"

"Yes!"

*3 days later*

The final bell rang signaling that school is finally over. Yes I'm flying out to Orlando. I walked out to my car to see Kyla waiting for me.

"Hey ready for the weekend"

"Yep, got some homework though"

"Same here" We drove back to the apartment to finish packing up before we our flight. 

"Man I'm so excited for this weekend"

"Me too I can't wait to see this concert"

"They are really good trust me" We finished packing up our suite cases and put them in the car. We were chilling in our kitchen when my phone rang. I answered it then put it on speaker.

"Hey Delly"

"Hey Camille. What are you doing?"

"We were just about to head out"

"We? Who is the other person?"

"Kyla she is my room mate. I invited her so she wouldn't be by herself"

"Oh alright well did you make reservations at the hotel?

"Way ahead of you Rydel"

"Okay okay see you in a few hours"

"Okay see ya Delly" we got in the car to head to the airport. We were waiting for our flight to be called and I was texting Rocky while doing so.

*Hey how's tour so far?*

*It's good. It would be better with you here though*

*Aww baby I wish I was there too*

*I miss you so much. I just wanna see you*

*I just wanna see you too. I hope we can soon*

*Yeah how is school going?* 

*Pretty good. I've been super busy*

*I noticed that. We haven't been talking as much as we planed*

*Yeah and I'm sorry about that* 

*It's alright I at least I get to talk a bit* our flight was called and I was getting more and more excited every minute. 

*Alright baby I gotta go, I have a lot of homework*

*love you too* we got on the plane and waited to take flight. I so excited about seeing the Lynch's and Ratliff. I've missed them so much. Just as much as I've missed Sam and Alex. 

*Skips plan ride*

We arrived in Orlando and checked into the hotel. After we got settled I called Rydel.

"Hey Delly we just finished settling in"

"Great I'll be over in two minutes. What are room are you in?"

"625"

"Okay. Wait, that just down the hall. We have to be careful"

"Okay see you in a few" a few minutes later there was a knock on the door. I opened the door to revel an overexcited Rydel. I opened my mouth to say hi but before I could get the word out of my mouth she pulled my into a big hug.

"CAMILLE!" she screamed.

"RYDEL!" I screamed back."How are you?"

"I'm great. How are you?"

"I'm great. How's tour?"

"Good it would be better with you there though"

"I wish I could but I have so much to do. How is everyone?"

"Good. They miss you all like crazy, especially Rocky"

"Miss them like crazy too" and just as I said that Stormie walked through the door.

"Camille!"

"Hey Stormie. How are you?" I said giving her a hug. 

"I'm good. What about you?"

"I'm doing alright. What are you doing here?"

"Well Rydel told me what you guys had in mind so it would easier to pull it off"

"Oh. Well guys this is Kyla. Kyla this is Rydel, Rocky's sister, and his mom, Stormie" 

"Nice to meet you too"

"You too" the both said.

"Camille has told me so much about you guys"

"Aww! Okay Camille so what do you want to bring out to him? A cake, pizza like we did for Ellington, Mac and cheese?" Rydel asked. 

"Well you guys did pizza for Ellington already so scratch that. Um mac and cheese would be a little weird don't you think?" I replied.

"Maybe a little but your trying to be different" Stormie said.

"Why don't you do a cake with his favorite candy on it or something?" Kyla suggested.

"That's a good idea Kyla" I replied. 

"Well we all know that his favorite candy is nerds. So it looks like we are taking a trip to the store" Kyla and I got on our shoes and grabbed our jackets. We all headed out to the van and made our way to the store. When we arrived at the store and found the cake batter. 

"What kind of cake should we do?" I asked.

"Chocolate. Everyone loves chocolate. Then we should do white icing with nerds on top" Kyla said.

"Let's do it" when we got back to the hotel Kyla and I went back to our room to start making this cake. 

"Okay we better get back. See tomorrow Camille" Rydel said. I gave her a hug then said bye to Stormie and gave her a hug as while. Then they left back to their hotel room while Kyla and I got started on this hopefully awesome cake. We finished baking and icing the cake. We started putting the nerds on the cake and it looked so yummy. Kyla and I were so tired from making this cake we went to bed.
