Dom's POV

It's been three days since they've called. We're so close to catching Bauer, but all I can focus on is my girls. I was working on my car when Brian came up to me with two cold beers.
"Dom you need to take a break. You know you can talk to me. What's up?" I let out a little laugh. How does he always know how to get me to laugh and stop working. "If you don't drink this beer I know Roman is going to steal it from my hands." I let out another small laugh and took the beer from his hands. We moved our conversation to the balcony of where we were staying. I often went out there to take a breather. It's one of the best views in the city. "Alright I know it's not the car you're worried about. I could be Bauer, but you know we have him in the bag." I smiled at his confidence. Hasn't changed since I met him. "Is it Letty and Esperanza you're worried about? Dom we are about to catch Bauer and the month is over in two weeks. You're going to see your girls soon." I looked down not wanting him to see the tears forming in my eyes.
"They haven't call in more than a week. They aren't even answering my texts! I have no connection to them. I don't know what to do!" I put my head in my hands. "I would leave but Hobbs needs me and I can't go back on my deal." Tears rolled down my cheeks. I couldn't hold it in anymore. My girls could be dead for all I know. "Have you tried calling Mia?" When I turned to face him, his eyes were full of pity. Something I never thought I would see in his eyes while looking at me.
"She called me yesterday. They are okay. I have to go home to Mia. I'm going to be a dad!" Brian looked at me in disbelief. He still couldn't process the information he had been given. Life changing information. "I have to go home Dom. She's three months already. She found out before we left. She was going to tell me when I called her about E getting hurt, but she couldn't tell me then. She said I would have had an explosion of emotions." He laughed as he quoted my sister. "She couldn't hold it in anymore so she called me and told me everything that's been going on and told me the news. Dom. I have to go." I smiled at his excitement. He looks like a little kid. I know he's ready to be a dad.
"Go. Be with your family." Brian hugged me and ran to start packing. "Brian wait," he stopped, "keep an eye on my girl. Take Esperanza to a race for me?" He smiled.
"Will do Dom. See you soon!" He ran to his room to start packing. My attention changed to the beauty of the city. One day I will come here with E on vacation. We will do all the things she wants and go to a race or too. Nothing illegal. No bad guys or cops. Just me and her. As a family.

(A/N: Hey guys! Sorry this is shorter than normal I just really liked the way it ended. The inspiration for this chapter came from Fast Five when Brian and Dom are in Brazil looking out and talking about their father's. I tried to do something like that but it came out like this. Oh well! I hope you liked! Please let me know in the comments! I want to know if people actually enjoy this story! Love y'all and y'all in the next part! -H❤️)
