Part 4

Ran's POV,

I should be happy after seeing him. Afterall he was going to be my husband, I had to spend my whole life with him. But somehow I was not happy.

"So Ran! I hope you like our surprise. So this is your prince charming. RAN! what are you thinking. Just go to him." Sonoko said and slightly pushed me towards my would be husband.

Yes, Yano Kyuro was going to be my life partner, not Shinichi.

But why I am thinking about Shinichi. He left me, left me all alone. He is selfish.

My eyes became teary. I looked at the ground hoping they didn't notice my tears.

"Hi!" Mr.Yano greeted me with a gentle smile. I looked up at him and said the same.

"agrh!" Kazuha made that sound in frustration and said, "Are we here to see this couple greeting each other! lets go guys! leave them alone for some time and let them spend some time together."

Immediately I said, "What! no, it's good to be together. I mean.. umm... it's more fun if we all stay together, isn't it?"

Sonoko protested, "no Ran. Its not good t....."

Mr.Yano cut Sonoko off by saying, "Ran is right. We all should spend time together and have fun. and..", Mr.Yano came close to me and pulled me closer with his arms around my waist and said, "If it's about spending alone time with Ran, it can be at a crowdy place too.. because whoever around us, Ran is only one in my eyes."

I looked up to him. He was smiling at me looking straight at my eyes. I faked a smile at him.

"Aww!" Sonoko and Kazuha said together.

Making a dreamy eyes Sonoko said, "How romantic! Ran! you are so lucky!"

Yes, I was. He was really a sweet and gentle man. Any girl could be happy with him forever. I hoped I would also. I definitely would.

"Kazuha! me and ku..I mean conan kun will be back after some time. We have some job to take care of." Hattori kun said to her wife.

"But where are you two going?"

"None of your business, darling!"

Then, they vanished in the crowd.

Conan's POV,

"I JUST CANT TOLERATE ALL THIS!"

I felt so much angry. Seeing Ran and Yano together, I just couldn't held my anger in. Suddenly Hattori dragged me from there to an another place.

"Kudo... please control yourself."

"How can I? You say How can I! THAT JERK! He is just getting into my nerve. Why did you drag me here?"

"Kudo! he is Sonoko's boss in her office. Do you want her in trouble? So don't create any scene here. And it was too much necessary to drag you from there. I noticed how you looked at that man and tightened your fists."

Hattori forcefully made me sit on the nearest bench.

I covered my face with my hands and trying to control myself.

"Wanna have some coffee?" Hattori asked.

I said, "No need"

Hattori sighed and said, "Look Kudo, I know you are angry. But you have nothing to do. They are going to be married soon. And you still are Conan, a 18 years old boy. So just let it go."

I glared at him."JUST LET IT GO! how can you say that? I love Ran so much. She is my everything. how can I just let her go?"

"Then what are you gonna do? fight with that 30 years old man and claim your love to Ran? Do you really think that will work? and think about Ran.What she will think about you if you do such stupid staff?"

Seriously, I had nothing to say to Hattori. I knew all he was saying was true. My hands were tied. I didn't have anything to do. I had no solution that would actually work.

BUT I couldn't lose Ran. I just couldn't.

Ran's POV,

"They are late. Aren't they?"

I was just wondering where Conan kun and Hattori kun were.

"hmmm.... but don't worry Ran. they will come. if you are worried about Conan kun. Then don't be. Hattori kun is with him." Sonoko said.

Kazuha said while playing with her hair, "huh! Heiji is with him that is the problem. Heiji is such a trouble maker."

Sonoko said, "Oh kazuha chan, you shouldn't say something like that about your sweerheart."

"Ladies!" Mr.Yano is walking to us with three icecreams in his hands. "Icecreams for my beautiful ladies."

"Aww.. thank you." Sonoko and Kazuha said. "Your man is so gentle Ran."

I smiled shyly.

By then Hattori kun and Conan kun came back.

"Sorry, we are late." Hattori kun said scratching his back of his head.

Kazuha said, "No, no, it's totally cool. actually it would be great if you were more late because we were having lot of fun without you."

"Oh really. I don't believe that. As you are such an annoying and boring girl, no one could have fun with you around," Hattori said with a smirk on his face.

"WHAT! NO I am not boring"

"Yes you are."

Again they started their usual fight.

"Hey hey guys.... cool down! don't fight now okay. Let's ride mystery coaster. What do you all think?" Mr.Yano said.

Sonoko said clapping her hands," Yeah it's a superb idea. Lets go..."

Then we all went to ride mystery coaster and bought ticket for all of us.

Before we about to ride the coaster Sonoko cleared her throat and announced, "listen to me guys! since this coaster have all two seated seats, we have to split in two. ummm....so we will ride as Hattori kun and kazuha chan, Ran and her husband, me and Conan kun."

"NO!" I immediately protested. "I..I want to ride with Conan kun."

I didn't know why but somehow I didn't feel comfortable to be with Mr.Yano. I was feeling suffocated to be around him.

Sonoko said , "Why Ran? He is your husband. You should be with him"

I about to say something but Mr.Yano laughed and said, "We are not married yet Sonoko. And by the way I never want to force my Ran for anything. I will accept whatever she is comfortable with."

He looked at me and smiled gently. I started feeling so guilty inside. He was so nice to me. I wasn't returning anything. I felt so bad.

Sonoko again cleared her thoart and said, "Okay then I am gonna ride with my boss. Let's go guys."

We all took our seats.

Conan's POV,

I love you Ran. I really do. When she told that she wanted to be with me on that ride, I just wanted to hug her and never let her go.

Ride was starting. Ran was beside me. It feels like the last time when I was riding this ride being me, being Shinichi.

As usual she was afraid of this ride. Ran hold my fist and tightened it. This was the only reason I always wanted to ride it with her beside me.

Everything is so perfect. I hope... i just hope the time being stopped here and Ran is being my side FOREVER.
