part 5

Conan's POV,

"PLEASE!"

"No"

"I said please"

"And I already said 'no', Kudo-kun"

I sighed in frustration.

I sat on the sofa and growled at Haibara. She had no such expression on her face. She continued her work on her laptop silently and taking sips from her coffee mug in between.

"What are you doing by the way?" I asked.

"Something that you can't understand."

"Why not?"

"Because you are not that intelligent to understand this."

Haibara said with no expressions on her face as well as on her voice.

I controlled my anger and tried once again to convince her.

"Haibara, You know very well that how much I need the antidote right now."

"Yeah, I know."

"Then why don't you just make an antidote for me?"

"Kudo-kun,"  she put her laptop on the table and looked at me, "I told you before also and I am telling you once again. It's harmful for your health"

"What do you mean by harmful? I don't care about all this."

"It kills. You might die if you take this antitude."She stopped for a moment, then asked, "Still you don't care?"

"Yes, I don't care," I said, "as if I'm any better than dying. It has been ten years for god's sake. My patience has gone now. Completely. I don't care if something happens to my body. Only thing I care about is Ran right now. And I can't lose her anyway."

It was the only way that I could have my Ran again. I need to consume the antidote and get back my own body. Actually Hattori gave me this idea when we were at the amusement park and Hattori dragged me to an another place to distract my mind.

Flashback starts.......

"JUST LET IT GO! how can you say that? I love Ran so much. she is my everything. how can I just let her go?"

"Then what are you gonna do? fight with that 30 years old mature guy? and think about Ran. What she will think about you if you do such stupid thing?!"

Seriously, I had nothing to say to Hattori.

"Kudo! I have an idea," Hattori said after few minutes.

"I have no interest in your stupid ideas."

"It can be helpful, just listen to me once."

"Okay, say!"

"Why don't you ask that girl to  help you?"

"Which girl?"

"That girl.... who is also a victim like you. She is now same age as you, but she should be older....."

"Oh! Haibara?"

"Yeah! You should ask her. I think she can help you."

It was surprising. Why didn't I think about it before? After a long time I smiled and said, "Thank you bro!"

"Only thanks? You have to give me a coffee treat." Hattori grinned.

"Haha.. okay let's go"

Flashback ends.....

"Kudo-kun, you are crazy." Haibara snaped out. She went back to her work.

I gave a look of anger and didn't say anything. What should I do now? I was feeling so helpless.

"Shinichi!" Professor Agasa entered the scene.

"Yeah," I responced.

"Have you heard that news of the murder occurred at the mall?"

"No..where is it?"

Seriously, because of this Ran's marriage issue I stopped reading news paper also.

Professor Agasa showed me the news on news paper and said, "It's still on investigation. You should try to solve it too. You can do it only Shinichi".

"Yeah, I am going."

"And we also." We heard Genta's voice.

"Why do you guys are here?"

"Come on Conan, We are The team detective boys. How can you just go alone to investigate? We must be together. Then only this case be solved. Right?" Genta said.

Mitsuhiko smiled big and said, "Right."

"Stupid! It's not a game for children like you guys." I said being irritated.

Genta became angry and said, "What? we are children! then what are you? Do you consider yourself a oldman like professor Agasa?"

"Hey I am not old. I am still young and handsome enough." Professor Agassa protested.

"Haha... Yeah sure." Genta said while laughing.

"Grrr ... you guys are irritating me. Fine, Lets go all together." I said.

"Yes! and Ai-chan, you too are going with us... right?" Mitsuhiko said cheerfully.

"Wrong." Haibara said. "I am not interested." Then, She headed towards her room with her laptop.

She and her attitude!

I looked at Mitsuhiko. He faced down. He sure is upset because of her rejection. He has a long time crush on her. Two years ago he gathered some courage to confess to her. Then also she said coldly, "I am not interested."

I still remembered those days. Mitsuhiko didn't come school for two weeks after that incident. Slowly he recovered and got back to normal life. Poor Mitsuhiko! But, Still he had feeling for her and he still had hope about it.  You stupid boy, You don't even know the the truth about her. If you could ever know, I am sure you would be faint.

Mitsuhiko was so much into girls. When we were child (I mean when I turned into a child back then) , he told me that he liked Ayumi and threatened me to stay away from her.

Ayumi!

I didn't even realize She was also there, She hadn't uttered a single word.

She was so silent today. I remembered that day she proposed me and I rejected her so rudely. May be, She was upset because of this.

All were my fault I knew. Because of me, Ayumi was upset.. Ran was upset.

I was feeling so depressed again.

"What are you thinking? Let's go... we are late." Genta grabbed my hand.

"BE AWARE CRIMINALS! THE DETECTIVE BOYS IS COMING...."

He announced loudly.

Huh! stupid children!!

Ya ya I know it's a short chapter. Sorry for that. But I promise you the next chapter will be longer and interesting ;)
