Conan's POV,

"Aghhh!" I was feeling so fastrated.

"It's okay Kudo, Don't be upset." Hattori said trying to console me.

"No it's not okay."

"It is. You couldn't solve this murder case doesn't mean you are not a good detective."

I sighed. It was the very first time in my life when I couldn't solve a case. I was just wondering what was happened to me. But Hattori reached that place on time and saved me from being embarrassed.

It's all your fault Ran!!

I mumbeled to myself. And it's actually true. Everytime I tried to concentrate on that case, Ran poped up in my mind.

"Conan-kun!"

Again!! What was happening to me? Now I could hear her voice also in my head. May be my mind would also let me imagine that she was near me. ha!

"Conan-kun, I was calling your name. Why didn't you response me?"

See. I was imagining that she was in front of me and talking to me. how stupid I am!

"Ouch", Ran hit me on my hand breaking my day dreaming and making me realize that it was not my imagination, she was really there.

"What happen Conan-kun? Can't you response?" Ran asked me clenching her brows.

"Oh... sorry"

"Actually Conan-kun is just absent minded. Am I right, Conan-kun??" He told me with a proud smile on his face as if he was saying look this time I didn't make mistake by calling you by your real name.

"Okay", Ran rolled her eyes and said," I was just going to have my lunch at the nearby restaurant. you guys like to join?"

"No.. actually Kazuha told me that she was going to make something special for lunch today at home. So, if I do lunch on restaurant, I have to see her monster like face", He said making a not interested at all look.

Ran chuckled a little then said, "Aww... why don't you just admit that you too love to spend time with her?"

"Oh please, I rather love to sleep and relax than spending time with her.", Hattori said.

"Yeah sure", I said sarcastically.

Ran said with a little smile, "Okay, Have a great time you two."

"Yeah I wish to.. hehe.. bye"

Hattori left.

It was now me and Ran.

"Okay Conan-kun, lets go", She smiled.

"Yeah"

At restaurant,

I don't know why its feeling like a date with Ran. I mean... me and Ran alone.. at a restaurant.. sitting the opposite sides of table. feeling great.

Its not that its the first time for me to have lunch with her. But don't know why this time I was feeling special.

"What you wanna have?", Ran asked.

"huh?", I responsed unattaintively.

"What do you want to order for lunch? What are you thinking?", She asked.

"Umm... nothing"

"Nothing!!!?? you don't want to eat anything?", She asked being confused.

"No! I mean I am not thinking anything."
