Chapter 3

Ken's POV

I was daydreaming and I heard my name being called.

"Psst, Kenneth! Hello there???" The man with a blond hair asked, I shook my head to wake me up from my thoughts "Yeah? What is it?" I asked, he looks at the girl with the purple streak "Since we know your name... I guess its safe to tell ours" She says, still walking, She takes a deep breath before saying "I'm Minx...25 years old (book), Fire Mage" She puts her hands on her pockets... It's quite intimidating that she's taller than me

"Where did you live?" I asked... As we all know, Fire mages were far away, can't imagine her just walking through the gates "Just in the mountains... Fire mages scattered... But they are rare to find in this kingdom, but if you go out beyond the barriers of this place, there are numerous of them too" She says, I nod, She looks at the blond haired guy and he introduced himself

"Felix Kjellburg, Call me Pewds, pronounce it whatever you want Poods, Poody, Pe-" I got out a poster and I unrolled it "You mean this guy?" I asked, Minx looks at him before he slowly nodded

He's a murderer?!

"Woah, hell no, I'm not going with you guys" I say, backing up, putting the poster back in my bag "Hey, its not that bad really!" Minx says, shrugging as he looks at... Pewds was it?

"Not bad?! Dude, you befriended a murderer!" This is just fucking great, I'm here with a fire mage and a murderer, enough to put in the newspaper "I only kill traitors... So if you ruin your promise... I'm not afraid to sheath blood on my dagger" Pewds says, Making Minx look at him with a questionable look, She ignores us but the threat wasn't removed from my head.

"You got it?" Pewds asked "Tsk" I crossed my arms and I look away as we continue on walking to the destination, Minx was leading since she started on walking when we were fighting.

Pewds ran towards Minx to talk, but I overheard the conversation

"We're almost there in the city..." Minx started as she didn't look at Pewds

"Yeah...May I ask what we'll do there?"

"I wanna talk to someone" she says.

"Like...give me specific answers" Pewds says, putting his hands on his pockets

"Just, a normal enemy"
A moment of silence appeared, but not in an awkward way

"Hey...uhm, Are you angry or something?" Pewds asked and Minx looks at him

"Huh? Ofcourse not! I just remembered something similar about the fight"

"I guess... You don't wanna talk about it huh?" Pewds asks as Minx nods, we stopped on a tree as the town hall was crowded by different people

"We're here..." Pewds says, saying the obvious, Minx looks at me before saying "I'm not used with a lot of people" She mumbles as she puts her hood up to cover her face "Understandable, Especially because you live in the mountains" I mumbled back as we stop hiding behind the tree and leave the forest.

Going to the crowd, Minx was doing a pretty good job, That's when where people began to be silent and look around

We finally came in a small wooden store which was for weapons... To buy weapons anyways, I checked my pockets if I have any more money, The coins jingled and I smile a little as I bought more bullets for my lovely revolver.

I look around to see everyone looking at Minx, She was still on her black robe and she was talking to the "owner"

"Where is he?" I overheard Minx say in an almost angry manner "I can't possibly tell you Maam" the man says, grinning as he tips his hat, Minx grabs his collar's shirt
"Where the fuck is he?" She says making Pewds look at her, giving her the dagger

"H-He's at the back door" He says, Raising his hands in defeat, She pushes the man away from the way, giving Pewd's dagger back and I followed behind putting the bullets in my pocket and my revolver in my belt, Minx looks at the dark room before the three of us got in.

Unsure, I got my revolver getting ready on whats about to come, I hear a slight whip in the air and something hit it, but I could hear that the one that got hit was fighting.

Then finally another near woosh was heard again, hearing something metallic, which I assume was Pewds' dagger.

I got ready but knowing that I have a revolver I wouldn't also know that I hurt would my...my uhm...I don't know what to call them.

Friends?... No tsk, impossible, met them earlier, Almost killed them, Pretty sure it's a friend

And because I got distracted by my own thoughts, A metal was smacked in the back of my head making me fall down the ground, blacking out.
