Mishiga was now on a hospital bed, his left arm bandaged. The doctors said that it was fractured so it might take a while for it to heal.

Mishiga nodded, as the other Vocaloids felt sorry for this. He had just joined the Vocaloids but already got injured.

When he was discharged, he just gave out a nod, and actually did the unexpected: he smiled.

Mishiga then looked at the others. "Let's go home guys," he said, still smiling.

The others nodded but the girls seemed to be flustered, for some odd reason.

Once they got to the manor, Mishiga looked quite sleepy.
"I'm going to sleep," he said, yawning and went into his room.

The others let him and went to do whatever shenanigans they want to do, except for IA, who followed Mishiga.

Mishiga, realising her following him, looked at her.
"Why're you following me?" He asked.

IA stopped in her tracks and looked down, biting her lip. Mishiga sighed and pat her head before he went into his room.

He sighed as it now smelled like lasagna.
"I'm surprised they knew about this," he muttered.

He then looked at the same bag he used to get him to carry his stuff and found the same tape.

"Why haven't I played that before?" He muttered as he used his free hand to grab the tape and somehow found a tape player in the desk.

He then played the tape as he listened intently.

"Hey Mishiga, sonny!" Said a quite energetic male adult through the tape.

"I taped this since I know you'll listen and see how I look like when you grow up," the voice said and Mishiga instantly stopped the tape recording.

"I gotta find a TV that works with tapes," he said before realising he had a working laptop that can transfer a data from CDs, DVDs and VHS as he then got the latter.

"Transfering data," he muttered as he typed the password pretty fast and once he pressed 'Enter', it instantly logged in.

"Okay. That's done," he muttered as he then took out an adaptor wire and connected it with his laptop and connected one of the wire to the tape and soon it was transferring data to his laptop.

Mishiga watched as the percentage increases in a fast rate and once it reached 100% and it was confirmed successful, he went and checked the file.

He then saw the video labelled as 'For our son who had never seen us'. He instantly played it.

It showed a typical living room, but then there were legs of someone. This person was wearing a pair of black pants.

The person, then sat down and it showed to be a man, with messy red hair, red eyes and fair skin colour. The man was also wearing a tuxedo.

"Hey Mishiga sonny!" The man said with the same voice. Mishiga watched, smiling and although he knew that it was just a video, he said, "hi dad."

"I taped this since I know you'll listen and see how I look like when you grow up," the man continued.

"Besides, here's your mom!" The man said and soon enough, there was a woman with long dark blue hair and sky blue eyes.

"Hello son. I know it's not much, but live life," the woman said, rather unamused.
"My mom's a pessimist and dad's an optimist, huh..." he muttered as he continued watching.

"Anyway, Mishiga, I know you'll live in a world where it's cruel place, but, there's always that shred of hope. Go and make friends," the man said again.

"I already did, but he died..." he muttered, as tears were brimming.

"And if your friend died, move on," the man said and that caught him by shock.

"I had a friend that died when both of us were teenagers. He died because he was shot. I tried to help him, but it was too late," the man continued.

Mishiga then suddenly got the same flashback of Max slowly dying in front of his eyes, and slowly nods.

"Of course, I went through depressions, all sorts of imaginable ones. But that changed when I met your mom," the man said and Mishiga blinked at this.

"I changed when I joined the Vocaloids...but...how did I managed?" He muttered.

"And finally, save your energy for the better future," the man said, grinning.

The woman then said, "it doesn't mean you have to be lazy at all times. You just need to be yourself and use that conserved energy for other people and good deeds." Mishiga nods at this.

"And also, we love you from the bottom of our hearts. Even if you couldn't see us physically, I know that you'll be watching this video and I'll say it again, we both love you, no matter where you are," the man said, and Mishiga was already crying.

"And our names are..."

Mishiga was now standing on the grounds of a graveyard. He then looked at the two graves near him and spotted his parents' names.

"Rest in peace, mom, dad," he muttered as he slowly cried, before he felt a pair of arms around him and provided him warmth.

"Don't worry. The Vocaloids are always with you," IA said as Mishiga cried less and hugged back.

"Thank you, IA," he said as he broke the hug and looked at IA with a smile.

Before each of them knew what they were doing, both were slowly leaning towards each other.

The distance had been closed.

Both had felt the warmth of each other's lips. Both then pulled away from the kiss, and blushed.

Mishiga then realised what his feelings meant to her.
"I like you IA...I like you so much."
