Come on. Five minutes. Hurry.
This day was too much.
Our Math Teacher kept blabbering while I was busy staring outside the window. There’s this small pigeon perching on a tree branch. It was there since I entered the classroom.
As usual, I sat at the front row. And as usual, I detested Math.
The bell rang.
Finally. I almost did a happy dance.
Students milled the hallways. Wrong move because I suddenly found myself kneeled on the ground. Someone just pushed me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see the culprit's face.
Some ignored me, while some just took a glimpse of my helpless state. Nobody dared to help me. Lucky me.
“Hey, what the hell,” cursed someone.
“S-sorry,” I mumbled.
She gave me an annoyed look before walking away together with her bunch of friends.
I sighed. I guess these people don’t even know how to say sorry. How fortunate you are, Alexys.
It’s my first day in school yet I was being bullied.
Napatigil ako at napakagat-labi. Bakit ba ang lampa ko? Ilang beses ba sa isang araw akong dapat murahin at mabunggo?
I sighed. “Sor—“ I was about to utter an apology when I suddenly stopped.
That look…that cold and frightening look.
“Move,” he said dangerously.
His eyes had that perfect chocolate brown color.
“I…I..” Ano nga ba ang sasabihin ko? Bigla yata akong pinagpawisan.
“Ha?” I asked instead, confused.
His handsome face turned into a scowl.
“W-what?” Pull yourself together, Alex.
“I said, move,” he gritted his teeth.
Move? What did he mean by that?
“Wait, w-what?” Gather your wits, Alex.
