His legs ached from the long flight but he smiled anyway. He was going to college. The boy liked the thought of a new start but it scared him all the same. He touched the heart shaped necklace on his neck. On the necklace was her name: Faith.

In his small newly rented room, he unzipped his suitcase. To his surprise he found a thick notebook sitting on top of the mess of his shirts, shorts, pants and boxers.

The notebook was elegant, it was cream colored with light blue hearts as patterns. For Him was written on the cover in neat cursive writing. He opened the notebook, the first page was blank with only a piece of sticky note stuck to it.

For the silver lining in my cloud:

I don't know if we will ever see eachother again. Maybe the next time we meet will be years from now, and you'll have a girl. She'll be beautiful. Please when you reach for the stars don't forget about me.
