For Him
From Faith

People always ask me why I like you, like they don't get what's so good about you.

I always say that it's because you're amazing.

They don't seem to get it, they say that I'm too good for you.

They say that you're insecure.

I tell them that I don't care.

Though, I do wish that you would be more confident.

I wish you'd accept the compliments directed to you rather than brush them away like they're rubbish, like you don't believe them.

Please don't avoid my questions about your weaknesses or ignore me when I offer to help.

I really wish you told me about your panic attck in class the other day.

I know there's no reason for me to know but I have a great concern for you, and you usually confide your feelings in me, even if you don't say much.

I want to be there for you, I always knew math was stressful to you but I didn't know it freaked you out that bad.

I thought you were doing fine, you never made a fuss out of it.

I did, all the time.

Everyone I met would know that I struggle in math, but by some miracle I manage to get good grades.

I guess it's all the cramming before the tests.

Eleventh grade is hard, I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones.

IMPORTANT:
Here's to help you understand the story a bit better:

Just to clarify, when the girl was writing this she was 16 and the boy was 17.

It's different in America, but in our curriculum, we still take all the core subjects (and some others of our choice) til' eleventh grade then we take our test and move on to twelve grade (which can be done in a school or in a college), in this case the boy decided to do it in a college.

This chapter is a little different, as I'm making my way to change from her thoughts to some diary entries.

Hello!
I'm currently on a very unplanned vacation.

I'm missing so much school right now (I'm so worried my math teacher might be speaking alien language when I come back).

Anyway,

Have a great day
