The stars were aligned perfectly. The twilight bliss was everything that Flamour had dreamed about while she spent most of her days isolated from her parents. The crispness of the evening air, the calmness of the night, and the soft chirps of the bugs that played their melodic calls were things that she missed the most, of course, there was one entity she missed entirely and that was Error. There was something about his presence that made her feel....whole. Maybe it was the way he filled her with a sense of security, maybe it was the way every time he consumed her negative feelings, she felt a little more human. Flamour sighed to herself as she kicked a pebbled down the long and winding path that lead away from the lavish lifestyle her uncle's lives so frivolously in. The amenities she received were nice to begin with, but over time, she felt overwhelmed by too many things--she missed her simple life...most of all, she missed Shilah. The one person who reminded what it meant to feel...loved. These thoughts that ran amuck inside her mind were making Flamour depressed; perhaps a little Monachopsis a word she picked up from somewhere which meant to have a subtle but persistent feeling of being misplaced a term perfect to describe her situation.
The forest that once became alive with nocturnal symphony was suddenly quiet and still as if some unseen force put the mute button on. It became very cold and grey as a black fog rolled over the land casting a grey and eerie shadow. Bright blue eyes peered out of the darkness as a large head began bobbing and swaying to a hypnotic notion. A small shiver went down the girl's spine as she recognized the behavior."Error?!" she said quietly. A sinister voice echoed through her mind with a cold tone, that it almost felt as if a bag of ice had been dumped down her shirt.
Hello, Flamour. I have been expecting you!
"Excuse me?" she asked cautiously, giving a soft but nervous chuckle.
don't be frightened, my dear, I am here on the simple accord to protect you. Flamour cocked and eyebrow as she gave a snort of disapproval.
"I don't like the way you are talking to me, Error, it's creeping me out." she spoke softly. There was another voice that followed close behind Error, it was a soft, but simple tone that was not Snipers.
Cut it out, Error you are going to make the girl soil herself! Error let out a soft chuckle as he grinned a pointed toothy grin.
The look on your face was priceless, Flamour. The second voice sighed as he stepped out of the darkness. The soft tone voice was the same when she saw from her dream on the plane: Ruby crested dragon-like creature with a white fluff that covered its neck like a scarf. charcoal-dusted arms with a yellow stripe down the thigh.
Many apologies, miss Flamour, Error has a twisted sense of humor when it comes to charades like this. My name is Edgy, and I am here to escort you to the abyss. Don't be frightened my dear, as long as you are with me, the abyss cannot harm you.
"Why am I going to the Abyss?" Flamour asked with an alarmed undertone.
To keep you from getting hurt. There is something vile that is brewing in our midst, and the only way for you to believe it is to see for yourself. I know the last time you were there it was not a very comfortable situation, but you have to put your trust in your guardian. These men who say are your uncle do not belong in this realm; they have done horrible things and frankly, it's not going to end well. Error has some business to attend to in this realm, and if you get in the way it may alter history as we
Flamour folded her arms in defiance not able to comprehend what this being was talking about. Error huffed a sigh as he walked next to Flamour draping a wing around her, just as someone would comfort another by placing a hand on their shoulder.
