-Another language warning-

Ruvel woke up on his desk. Glancing down at the opened book, he smiled. He turned around and looked at his sleeping puppets.

Ruvel placed the book and notes away in the drawer before approaching the bed. Just as he approached, the puppets eyes opened slowly. Ruvel smiled.

“Good morning sleepy heads…” the reaper said as he kissed their foreheads.

The two puppets smiled. “Good morning master.”

“Did you two sleep well” he said. Seeing both of them nodding. Ruvel smiled wider. “Good.”

He talked with them as he got ready for work. He eventually left the room and locked the door. He walked down the hallway and left for the human world.

As he was working, he heard a familiar voice. “Sup kid”

Ruvel stopped abruptly. “What do you want Raug..?” he glared slightly.

“Nothing kiddo. Just wanted to check on ya” he smirked and leaned against the staircase.

“You’re not my dad so f off.” said the younger reaper.

“Ooh~ feisty. I like it” Raug gave a small laugh.

“You’re not really here for what you said, are you..?” Ruvel’s grip on his scythe tightened.

“Well you’re bright kid.” he said while crossing his arms. “Those two souls. I know you made them”

Ruvel was shocked. He wanted to convince him that it wasn't true but no one can outsmart Raug. “H… How..?”

“Well who else would it be?” Raug gave a smirk. “You’re sneaky and talented kid. And that no one can deny.” he pushed away from the staircase and approached.  After step he took, the reaper stepped back. The demon laughed to this. “What, do you think i’ll tell that idiot Reiner and everyone else?”

Ruvel gasped. “Wait.. You’re not going to turn me in..?”

“Nah. I want to see where this ends up. And also if ya need help, you can always ask me. I can watch one of the souls for you” Raug said.

Ruvel felt a bit uncertain. He didn't want to trust someone else to take care of his puppets. There are his puppets. “I.. Don’t know …” he said.

Raug gave a frown. “Well it’s an offer kid. Just think about it would ya?” he said. “I gotta go back and play my new guest. I’ll see ya later~” and with that, he was gone.

Ruvel stood there in silence for a while. His puppets can get hurt but.. Maybe it’s better than keeping them at home all the time. They can explore the world and stay hidden at the same time. Ruvel thought about this as he continued to work. Raug can only take one… So what will he do with the other. The other can’t be alone that’s for certain, especially if it’s Latis.

He sighed and decided to focus on his work.

When evening came, Ruvel returned with the souls on his list. He handed them into Hades. Ruvel’s face remained in conflict. He just wanted to get back his room.

Rodeno meanwhile was walking down the hallway. His footsteps stopped near Ruvel’s door. He rose an eyebrow. “What…? These two souls are.. alive and moving. Was that demon right…?” he looked around. “And if he was right.. why didn't Ruvel tell us..” he glared slightly to this as he unlocked the door.

He opened the door and the room was dark. He stepped in a little, checking the dark surroundings. The door slammed behind him and he jumped.

“What the hell..?” Rodeno turned in front of him. Two souls, one blue and one orange were standing in front of him however something seemed… off.
