Confusion is how i describe it

ALEXS POV

" excuse me?" Washington said

" i don't have a parent" i said looking down at my feet

" we know you do not have a mother alex" Washington said" we thought you lived with your father, do you not?"

" my father left a few years ago" i said quietly

"Oh" Washington mumbled" where have you been staying"

" out side " i said

" out side" Washington repeated seemingly to himself

" for how long" washington asked

"A year or so" I mumbled

"Ok um, we will deal with tis later but just go play for now" mr. Washington said

I got up and went out of his office. I saw john laf herc eliza theo and maria waiting for me a few feet outside of the door. The were sitting on the ground all of them listening to what maria was saying.

" what he did was great. He sacrificed himself for us. I bet thomas wont do that again." Maria said

" but what if he gets expelled or suspended" john said fumbling over the words

The rest of the group gasped.

" i didn't think of that" eliza mumbled almost in tears

Just then a older girl in a black sweater and pink jeans burst through the door.

" who made my sister cry" she shouted running over to Eliza.

I walked over to john

" who is that" i asked

" that is angelica the oldest Schuyler sister. There is a little one named peggy" john responded

" how did she know that-" I said

" they just always know its like some sense or something." John said

" cool" i said

Angelica stopped hugging eliza and stared at the group

" so who was it" angelica said. She was a very intimidating person.

Everyone pointed to john

" really it was you john? You two are such good friends what happened?" Angelica said

" well thomas was telling maria theo and eliza that the could not play with some toy because they were girls. A normal mean thomas move. And then alex jumped on him and attacked him. Mr. Washington pulled alex in to his office i don't know what for. But while he was in there we all sat here like this, well like this but without alex. And maria was talking about how amazing he just was. Then i said that he might get expelled or suspended. Then everyone got said and alex came back." John said quickly.

" ok i don't blame you I blame thomas. He should be in kindergarten anyway so he's not really younger than me" angelica said walking off

"What just happened" i said extremely confused

" I not really know but we need to follow her" theo said

We all got up to see what she was going to do. By the time we got to her thomas already looked terrified for his life.

" I think that you wont be messing with my friends and sister now right Tom?" Angelica said evily

" i think your right" thomas quickly said seeming terrified

After that angelica left to go back to her own class. This school was interesting. I played with eliza maria john herc theo and laf for the rest of the day. Soon the bell rang and i went to leave. I was stopped by mr. Washington.

" alex you cant leave yet" mr. Washington said

" why cant i leave?" I asked

" son, you have no where to go i'm trying to work something out right now." Mr. Washington said

" ok, don't cal me son" i mumbled and went to go color

A few minuets later mr. Washington came back in.

" alex, you will be staying with Martha and i for the rest of the school year. Then we will need to find you a permanent home to stay in" mr. Washington said

" ok" i sighed

I grabbed my bag and went to go home with the washingtons.

" alex i think you will like it at our house we have a lot of animals and our cat just had kittens." Mrs. Washington said on the walk to their house.

" cool i like animals" i said

" good. Because we have to many" mr. Washington laughed

Maybe this wont be too bad?

A/N sorry for being like 3 chapters behind schedule. Tech takes a lot out of you. Only 811 words sorry. Read my other book in the meantime. That one is going to be updated in at least 3 days.
