"Uhhhh", she replies.
"Please Annie, my friends are having a party with all their girlfriends and I was invited to go with mine, it would only be for one night then we can go back to hating each other", I say.
"I-i guess so", she replies.
"Thank you", I say hugging her.

I get up to leave but Annie stops me.

"Please don't leave me", she says.
"What do you mean?", I ask her.
"Pleas stay with me, I don't want to be down here alone", she says.

What do I do? Do I stay down here with her?

"Just this once. But no one is to know about this", I say.

I run upstairs quickly and get my phone. And when I come back down she's laying in bed staring out the window.

"Here let me close the curtains", I say.

After I do that I get in bed next to her. I lay there staring at the ceiling.

"I just miss Caleb so much, I haven't been happy since he passed away and I just don't know if  I ever will be", she says, starting to cry again.

"Shhh, Annie stop crying", I say while wrapping my arms around her and stroking her hair.

"Why are you being so nice to me?", she asks.
"Maybe because I don't know what it feels like to lose a sibling and I can imagine how much i hurts", I say ,"Can I show you something?".
"Sure", she replies.
I pull out my Caleb necklace.
"I wear this every single day, and if my friends found out I wear it I would be kicked out of our group, we aren't aloud to wear necklaces, which is bloody stupid because they will never ever be as good as friends as Caleb and I", I say starting to cry a bit.
"Don't you cry", she chuckles.

I just smile at her and she smiles back.

"Goodnight Annie", I say before kissing her in the forehead.
"Goodnight Brennan".
