Brennan's POV
Annie walks away and I feel helpless. I can't believe I let an ex do that to her. I don't even know why I feel so sympathetic towards Annie, but I just have to, it's what my body is telling me.
She walks around the corner and into the girls bathroom. I follow her, without her realising I actually am.
The bell rings and everyone goes to class around me. I hear a teacher coming down the hallway, so I quickly jump into the foyer of the girls bathroom. I lean against the wall so I can't be seen. The teacher walks past and I lean against the girls bathroom door.
"I can't believe she did that, I can't believe Brennan didn't stop her, I don't know why I even agreed to that favour for Brennan! After it he will never talk to me. Why am I even here? Why don't I just, I don't know, leave, for good. Annie. Stop it. People will miss you. NO THEY WON'T", she screams while crying. I hear her slouch against the wall next to me.
"Annie-"
"Go away Brennan", she says before turning her back.
I sit on the ground next to her.
"Annie, please look at me", I say.
"Why! Why would I look at you!", she screams.
I grab her chin from behind and turn her face around.
"Look me in the eyes, Annie"
"NO BRENNAN I WONT!", she says before sharply turning her head. I lose my grip on her chin.
"Annie, I'm so sorry, for not protecting you, I've never been in that type of situation", I say.
"Well, I don't know if I can forgive you! My face hurts like bitch, I'm worthless, I'm nothi-"
I turn her head again and look her in the eyes.
I press my lips against hers, without even thinking about what I was doing. I pull away quickly and she turns away.
