"Get out, Brennan", she screams,"GET OUT!"
I quickly slam the door and head back upstairs. I can't believe she is depressed and hasn't told anyone! I quickly run back upstairs and sit down on my bed.
What is making her depressed? Is it my family? School? I don't even know.
I decide to get myself ready for the party. I put some causal clothes on, some nice deodorant, adidas shoes and I just leave my hair how it is. I also put my Caleb necklace on.
I sit on my bed again and decide to call Annie. Even though she is just downstairs.
*on the phone*
"Ann-"
"What do you want, Brennan", she asks.
"I-I just wanted to know if you were still coming to the party, as my ya know, fake girlfriend?", I ask.
"Well....um.... I-I.....we.....losing....connecti"
And the phone call ends with two knocks at my bedroom door.
I open it.
"Of course I'm still coming silly", she says while smiling through the pain.
