CHAPTER 1

I can't even look at him. He's the reason that I'm mentally fucked up. He's the devil dressed like an angel. He looked down at me as I mentally cursed him and his kin for the damage he has caused. Liam March was my downfall, so he will forever feel my pain in wrathful form. "I will be reincarnated in two hundred and thirty years to see Jacob Liam March's children's children's children suffer in agonizing pain for the crimes he has planted on many innocent persons. Be it physical or mental, your spawn will experience what I have." I needed time to run to my coven's home once I had made my little speech in front of my once love and father of my unborn child and his paramour.

You see, he and I have been seeing each other for only a small while as he was said to be visiting on business. He was part of a lumber company transporting for a king in Austria. I'd never bother for more information, so I suppose it was my fault that I am as close to labor as I am to be persecuted. I may not be smart as to see the signs as he was taken, but I am very dangerous when it comes to my revenge. My secret was very secure until I came home to a woman in my bed and several children running around.

"Hello? Who might you be?" She asked as I set my cape among my other dress like accessories in my and Liam's wardrobe. "Ma'am, I am Loribelle Galey. May I ask why you are in my home?" I had just finished asking when Liam walked into the room and dropped his jaw to the perfectly pristine of my house. "Darling!" He exclaimed as we nervously made his way to the other woman. "How did you get here from Virginia?" The other woman spoke as if the house in which we were standing in was her's. "I left with Mercy who is also here as well. Would you care to explain who this wrench is?" I could not take it anymore. "Madame, if you would kindly leave my house, before I have my sisters come and escort you out?" "Lori, do you have to be so rude? She's a guest and didn't know that you were putting her up." He said as he finally looked me in the eye. "I think that it is not only her that didn't know that I would be holding her. Liam, what have you gotten yourself into?" I could only imagine that this nameless woman was a mere cousin that he had forgotten to tell me about. But no, she was not a cousin, but a mistress. Scratch that, they were married. I was the mistress.

"Excuse me, Lori was it? But me and my husband would like this room for ourselves. And could you please boil me some drinking water, thank you dear." She was being extremely rude and I for one was not having it. "Excuse me, rooster, was it? Your 'husband' has been living here and courting me for a whole year now. I do hope that you realize that. Also-" Before I could do that, Liam interrupted me. "Lori, how dare you. You just accused my Mary Beth of adultery! I ask you to please leave this house. You may go until I call you back to settle this." His voice was eerily calm. Coaxing me as if I was a confused hopeless child. He took me by the arm and calmly walked me out the door to my own room, down my own steps, but stopped abruptly when I turned him toward me, fiercely. I jerked my arm from his reach and lifted it. "I own this house, don't you forget. You might be a man, and I a woman, but I will have you in the gallows for this. Plus, this house and the next are under my control." The doors banged upstairs and you could hear Mary Beth's screams and cries from the opening of the rail.

He watched me fearfully. Smiling, I walked up the stairs only to be flung back by my hair that had been in a high ponytail. Liam demanded what I was doing, but when I didn't answer with the answer that he wanted, he ran up the steps. I closely walked behind him, watching as he banged and yelled her name as she did the same but with terror obvious in her voice. I don't understand what has gotten her so worked up. I just used my gift to give my antiques life. You see, I am what my kind calls the "All" for my coven. And my kind are enchantresses and sorcerers who are here for the sake of the planet Earth. But for the last year now, we have been hiding our gifts extra carefully ever since the inhabitants of Massachusetts have been suspicious and burning young and old woman alike. They didn't even look towards the thought that men could also have the "Devil's Magic" that they all claim that we have. No, they stay walking the path that condemns woman. The ones who forward the human species, who can feed the babes with their body and not die.

Liam and Mary told the people of what I have done. And now I will need to, with the aid of my coven, put a curse on their kin so that I know that my early demise will not be in vain.
