"You know what Meredith told me today?" I asked Mark as we walked through the hospital.
"That her and Derek are going down to city hall today and getting married?" Mark replied.
"I'm so happy for the two of them" I said.
"Well you know with Meredith and Derek getting married they probably don't want you still living in the house so I was thinking maybe we could go look at some places" Mark said and I smiled.
"That's a great idea! I'm so happy you thought of that maybe I can get Lexie to come with us too and she can live with me that way Mer and Derek can get rid of both of us" I said and Mark shook his head.
"No Madison I meant we could go look at places that you and I could live in you know together" Mark said and my mouth made and O shape.
"I don't know about that" I said.
"What? Why?" Mark asked kind of shocked.
Then my pager went off. Thank god. I did not feel like having this conversation with Mark right now. The page was to Izzie's room so it had to be important.
"Sorry getting a page to Izzie's room it's important gotta go" I said and quickly kissed his cheek then walked off.
When I got to Izzie's room I saw a very upset Alex standing outside of it. Alex and I don't really talk much since we broke up things didn't really end to well.
"I'm so glad you're here I need to talk to you" Alex said and I was really surprised.
"You are?" I asked still surprised.
"I need your help Derek wants to do surgery on Izzie to take out a tumor but it could make her lose her memory and a bunch of other things and Izzie wants me to help her decide what she should do and you're the only one that's not very close to her so I know you won't tell me what to do just because you're her friend" Alex said and he was very upset.
I felt bad for him but the whole reason why I'm staying away from Izzie and all this is because I don't want to relive what happened with my mom and everyone knows that.
"Alex I can't tell you what to do she's your wife it's up to you and her" I replied.
Alex and Izzie got married a few days ago it was very sudden but sweet I wouldn't really know though because I didn't attend it. I told Mark it was too weird for me so we stayed home.
"What would you do if it was Mark? Would you do anything you could just to have him for a few more months?" Alex asked.
"Alex I've already had to make a decision like this with my mom and I'm not gonna have to make it again because Izzie isn't my wife, she's not really my friend yes she's my co worker but I don't have to make choices with my co workers husband about whether she should have a surgery or not it's up to you and Izzie and I don't want to be apart of it you haven't even spoken to me in months so I don't get why you thought I'd help you" I said and Alex shook his head.
"This is exactly why I left you for Izzie you're a selfish bitch" Alex said raising his voice then walked back into Izzie's room.
It didn't really bother me that Alex said that because Alex was an asshole and everyone knew it. I got paged down to the E.R for an incoming trauma and of course on my way down there Mark and I met up in the same hallway and I was forced to talk to him.
"Why won't you move in with me? Look and Meredith and Derek, Alex and Izzie, Dr. Bailey and Tucker they're all married and living together and they're happy" Mark said and I gave him a weird look.
"Are you trying to tell me you want to get married too?" I asked.
"No no not at all but would you want to?" Mark asked awkwardly.
