Rooftop.

It was late at night, making it hard to see while climbing the ladder to the roof. Bucky had a shotgun strapped to his back and a pistol in each pocket. Hawk had his bow slung over his shoulder, and i had a set of throwing knives in a pouch attached to my belt loop. We were all dressed in full black to match the dark of night. The three of us clambered onto the rooftop and set our things down. It was pouring rain, and almost freezing, but the heat vent was providing some warmth. Rain was starting to soak into the bandages that were wrapped around my body, causing me to shiver.

"Ready?" I asked Hawk. He nodded as i pulled out a lighter, an ice cube, and a small lock of hair. "Are we sure that this is gonna work?" Bucky asked, with a puzzled look on his face. I couldn't see why it wouldn't summon her. They both watched silently as i broke the ice cube in half and lit the hair on fire. Then, i set the burning hair between the ice and pressed it together. There
was a huge flash of light, and there she was. Her brown hair flashed in the light
of the moon. She gave a weak smile at us. "Oh.. Hey guys!" she acted cheerful. Hawk pulled an arrow out of his quiver, and aimed his bow at her. As i watched her, i felt it. My skin turned grey and my eyes turned red. I felt my tongue split and my horns come out of my head.

Hawk, Bucky, and Caroline watched silently as i turned into my second personality. Satina. My whole body was burning hot. Where i was standing was dry, because the heat of my body was evaporating the water. I ran towards her, knocking her down. I heard her scream in pain. No longer was her hair a light brown, but a deep blue- black. The woman that had taken Hawk and i lay before me. I slammed my hands into her chest, knocking her backwards
and burning holes in her shirt. She raised her hands, creating a large ball of water, and sent it hurling at me. It immediately dried off from the heat. I looked back at her just in time to see her fall, an arrow sticking out of her neck, and a gunshot wound on her forehead.

I walked over to her. Her eyes were burning holes into me. Her hair faded back to brown, and her eyes became soft. It didn't matter now though. She was gone. I noticed a small book hanging out of her pocket. I reached for it and took it in my hand.
