We need to stick together

Maka and soul are training with kid. For some reason maka keeps staring at kid and soul notices. This makes maka vonurable to kids attacks but kid refuses to attack her while she isnt paying attention. Liz and patty notice too. After the battle kid walks away trying to clear his head. Soul confronts maka.

"Maka what was that all about? Not a single attack! What do you have a crush on him or somthing!?" Soul looks at her and with the expression on her face he says "you do dont you?"

"Dont be rediculus soul...i dont like him..." Maka looks away.

"You can tell me if you do. Im your best friend right?" Soul smiles and maka sighs

"Fine...i do..."

Soul's jaw drops

"You seriously like him?"

Maka nods and soul stands up amd looks at kid in the distance talking to his weapons. Maka sighs and soul says

"Maybe i can help you out..."

"What do you mean 'help me out'?"

"Like i can find out if kid likes you very easily"

"You would do that for me?"

"Of course!" soul walks over to kid and maka gets nervous amd thinks *soul wouldnt just ask him would he?* soul comes back a few minutes later and says

"I cant ask liz and patty with him standing there. Could you get his attention over here?"

"Oh.....sure thing... Hey kid!" kid walks over and soul runs over to liz and patty and asks them.

"You called me maka?" Kid is infromt of maka and she looks at him wide eyed

"Oh ya umm....i was wondering is...ummm....that bush symmectrical?" Maka points to the bush knowing that will keep him occupied.

"No it isnt!" Kid walks over to the bush and pulls out clippers. Soul runs back over to maka. Maka whispers

"What did you find out?"

"They dont know for sure and dont want to make false acusasions..."

"Shoot..."

Kid stands up and looks at maka.

"The bush is symmectrical now..."

"O-ok...thanks kid"

Kid walks back to liz amd patty then they leave.
