A young woman living quite an adventures life and is very skilled in getting out of trouble. She just has one problem- she can't lie.
-
"How have you been getting away with this? I've seen your lying and to be completely honest you really shitty at it."
"You know what Valentine, fuck off"
"You gotta tell me Ace, otherwise im calling the cops and how in the world are you going to explain breaking and entering into into a Sex shop and stealing a blow up doll and two dildos."
Ace Argo, was in the peak of her life and she made sure she took in every second, making it an adventure, whether it was riding elephants in Africa or making bets in Vegas.
"First of all, bitch" Ace had no clue where she was going with this, maybe she would finally share her secret with him?, "I have a perfectly honest explanation for why i took ", she gestured at the rubbery pink and green colored toys.
"Id love to hear it"
"Great because you are, so as i was saying " she couldn't think of any way to explain it, after all , it was just a stupid dare some guy gave her.
"Wow this is a great story" the blond boy rolled his eyes are his words laced with sarcasm.
"Listen, how about this. Ill tell you why- " she started patting herself down, looking for the one thing that always saved her from what she couldn't explain, and there they were in her left pocket.
"Ill play you for the truth"
As stupid as it sounded, her cards were the only thing that kept her out of jail- despite being arrested more times then she could count.
Valentine shrunk his eyes at her, "Depends on the Game"
"21, just like mom taught us"
Without hesitance the game was on, both of them sitting on the floor, the truth to the side for wins.
The first card was set, she held a Jack in her palm, and Valentine held a mystery that crawled along the corners of his mouth, implying he held high.
"Hit me"
So she did , afraid of the number she dealt him and if this time, shed have to explain everything, panic rising through her blood up until the moment his smile faltered.
He'd gone over, she won.
