A Tragedy (Sans x Frisk)

Chapter 4

SANS POV

I kept fighting it. I killed it multiple times. Every single time I did, I wanted to cry. Seeing Frisk die by me breaks my heart.

Every single time it came back we fought longer and longer. I don't know how much longer I can last.

This time was different though I decided to give it a chance. I said "Hey come on just reset and bring Frisk back. I don't know who you are or what you want, but please have some mercy. I just want my friends, my family, my sweetheart back. Please I'm giving you mercy." During this little speech it started to cry. This confused me. It came over and hugged me. I was in shock but if they were serious they would reset. I was about to kill it right then and there but then it said to me "Sans I'm sorry... kill me." Something in me just snapped and I sent bones right through their soul. It said "your only prolonging the inevitable, Frisk." They then died. I am so confused. I don't know if it is putting on a show or if Frisk is in there. I don't know. It's probably just putting on an act, to get my guard down, even though that's not going to happen.

FRISK'S POV

We had been fighting for so long I don't even know how many times we reset. After a while though Sans gave us another option. This really surprised me, he was so set on killing Chara and now trying to spare us?! I don't know what he's doing.

Sans said "Hey come on just reset and bring Frisk back. I don't know who you are or what you want, but please have some mercy. I just want my friends, my family, my sweetheart back." I started to cry and I could feel it going down my face. He still calls me sweetheart. I can't let Sans die... I can't. "Please I'm giving you mercy." Sans finished.

I gained control of my body. I ran to Sans and hugged him. I was just so happy to feel him in my arms. I feel my arm raise with the knife. "No!" I thought but I say to Sans "Sans I'm sorry... kill me." He snapped I don't know if it was in rage or sadness. He sent bones right through my soul.

As we died Chara said "your only prolonging the inevitable, Frisk."

'That's where you are wrong I have a plan.' I thought to Chara.

'Hahaha don't make me laugh' she retorted.

Ok...
let's do this thing!

We reset, when I saw Sans he looked confused just staring at us. It kinda freaked me out. Chara just laughed and said "What's wrong Sans, cat got your tongue. Oh I see your just too scared aren't you. Scared I'll win. Scared you'll kill me and end up killing Frisk too." Sans face went from confusion to anger at the mention of me. He started sending bones at us. Chara dodged and said "Afraid you'll lose her forever! Afraid I'll end her existence! If you haven't noticed Sans I control her now I am her."

That's when I lost it I gained control of my voice and said "Sans don't listen to her, She's just trying to get you worked up I have a plan just stay strong fo-"

Chara cut me off and said "Shut up like he'll believe you!"

'Like he'll believe you!' I thought.

Sans' eyes went black then his left eye socket went back to the blazing blue I am so used to now. I think he gets what's going on at least some of it.

Sans used his magic to hold us still. He said "Frisk... if you can hear me say something... anything!"

I tried to gain control but it wasn't working. I opened my mouth a few times but I was unable to speak. I had control of everything else but my voice. Then it hit me.

---------------------Flashback---------------------

About a year after we reached the surface. Is when I wanted to help people and monsters as a job. I was a very physical person as in a used my hands a lot when I was speaking my hands were all over the place. That's when Goat Mom suggested I learn Sign Language. Mom said that the Sign Language in the underground was the same in the area we lived on the surface. So I taut myself sign language. It was hard almost all the time to teach myself. Mom didn't have the time to, since she was busy teaching other kids at her school.

I told Sans about it and he said "how bout' I learn it with ya kiddo. It'd be a lot easier on ya."

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you Sans." I said as I hugged him.

------------------------Story-------------------------

That's It! I signed to Sans using our signs for our names. I signed 'Sans I'm sorry. I love you so much.'

As I was doing this Chara said out loud basically screaming at me "What are you doing, you idiotic wentch".

Sans looked shocked and at a loss of words. I signed quickly 'Chara took control of me and wouldn't let me speak.' I couldn't say anymore as Chara took control and charged at Sans. He still looked confused even lost. I knew he wasn't going to dodge so I used all my strength to stab myself. Chara was so shocked that she lost control so I spoke "I love you." In a weak voice. I fell to the ground and the last thing I saw was Sans running towards me in a panic, but the last thing I heard was "I love you too. Please don't leave me."
