A Tragedy (Sans x Frisk)

Chapter 5

SANS' POV

When I saw it start signing and using the signs me and Frisk made for our names. I knew she was in there trapped by who ever this monster is. I was so shocked. I wanted to cry. I was so focused on what I just saw and what I was thinking about, that I didn't notice them charge at me. At this point I was dead for sure.

Then something happened Frisk had stabbed herself only a few feet in front of me. I was about to start running when I heard her say "I love you" in a weak voice. I started to cry and run towards her. I practically screamed as I cradled her "I love you too. Please don't leave me!" I sobbed.

Seeing her with a knife in her chest got me thinking 'She just stabbed herself to save my lazy ass. She really would do anything for me. I love you so much Frisk...

I wish this didn't happen to you.'

Then it finally reset after a few minutes of me cradling Frisks soulless body...

Kinda creepy when you think about it, but hey the love of my life just stabbed herself to save me from herself after I just found out she was still alive. Judge me I dare you!

(Sans please stop breaking the forth wall. Now I have to rebuild that frikin thing again!!!!)

FRISK'S POV

After I had killed myself something different happened. I was brought to the reset room. This has never happened after Chara took over. I heard crying so I turned around to see a cradled up Chara but before I could do anything she ran up to me and said "you didn't see this." She then ran and pressed the reset botton.

This kept happening Sans would kill me and if he couldn't I would kill myself to save him. Everytime I had killed myself I would go to the reset room and see Chara but she would be more of a mess each time. This happened about 5-10 times before she just sat there crying and didn't just run for the reset botton. I started to walk up to her when she said to me "why... Why can't you let me kill that smily trash bag? Just let me win. Let me take my revenge on the humans and the monsters."

"But what did they do to you?" I asked.

Chara screamed "MY FAMILY ABUSED ME AND WHEN I JUMPED DOWN A HOLE TO END IT ALL I DIDN'T DIE. BUT WHEN I FOUND A NEW FAMILY I ALMOST MESSED EVERYTHING UP! THEN I WANTED TO HELP MY NEW FAMILY BY SETTING THEM FREE SO ME AND AZZY THOUGHT OF A PLAN SO I ATE POISINOUS BUTTERCUPS THEN DIED, ASRIEL ABSORBED MY SOUL. WE WENT TO A HUMAN VILLAGE. WE WERE GOING TO ASK FOR 6 MORE SOULS PEACFULLY BUT THEN THEY ATTACKED US FOR NO REASON! ASRIEL WOULDN'T FIGHT BACK EVEN THROUGH MY TEARS AND PLEADS FOR HIM TO FIGHT BACK AND LIVE. HE DIDN'T. WE MANAGED TO ESCAPE AND WE WENT BACK TO OUR PARENTS AND WE DIED. AND NOW I WANT THEM ALL TO PAY FOR MY SUFFERING. FOR ASRIEL'S SUFFERING. NO ONE DESERVES MERCY...

N-not even me..." Chara had broken down into tears.

Everything must of just caved in on Chara. She made a self sacrifice for people she loved. I guess watching me do the same thing triggered her memories. This poor little girl.

"Do you know why your still here?" I asked.

"Your determination brought me back. Seeing all my family the way they are now, Hurts. Seeing Asriel the way he is, hurts. I couldn't take it anymore I wanted everyone to pay." She said. Asriel... Oh now I see.

"I can take you to Asriel you two could die in peice no more suffering for either of you. If you let me talk to Sans and let me have a true reset I can get you to Asriel and you both can die and be together forever." I said.

"Y-you can?" She asked.

"I can, I can also tell your family how much you and Asriel love them and they can truly move on." I said.

Chara thought for a minute. "Ok" was all she said. Chara a misunderstood murdering phycopath, just wants her family to be happy. Heh funny when you look on the bright side.

I pushed the reset button and I was greeted with a crying Sans. I had thrown Chara's knife to the side of the room and ran to Sans and hugged him. He was really surprised. "Sans it's gonna be okay. I'm here, it's me Frisk, I'm here." Sans hugged me back.

Sans said with worry and tearful eyes "Are you alright are you hurt?! Do you need help?! Wha-"

I cut him off "I'm alright and I talked to Chara and I have a plan." I told Sans what I was going to do.

"That's too dangerous!" Sans said.

"But it's the only way!" I said.

"There has to be another way!" He said.

"There is no other way!" I said.

"BUT I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN... not again... never again." He said

I stared straight into his eyes and said "you won't lose me. You can be right by me the whole way. I'll be okay. Alright?"

"Alright as long as I get to be there" he said.

"Of course." I said.

"Now I need you to kill me. One last time." I said

Sans said "No not again."

I said "Sans I wasn't asking. I need to get to the reset room so I can reset the file."

"But I can't do that. I saw you die by my hands I can't do that again!" Sans said as he burst into tears.

"Then I won't make you." I said. I walked over to Chara's knife that I had thrown to the side of the hall.

"FRISK DON'T PLEASE!" Sans yelled at me while running towards me.

I grabbed the knife and turned to a crying Sans. I hugged Sans and whispered in his ear "don't look". I kissed Sans on his cheek and let go of the hug. Sans then turned around.

I then stabbed myself letting out a grunt. The last thing I saw was Sans turning around left eye blazing blue.
