Sad Dummy

Hope walked through, pressing the mushrooms to light up all the paths so they could see. They walked into the next place. It had nearly the same layout as the last room except there was electronic lights you had to push sticking out of the ground, huge jagged crystals and the paths were different. They walked over to the first light and pressed it. It lit up and the light bounced off the crystals, lighting up some of the room. They walked along normally when suddenly the room started to dim again. It seemed these lights were temporary. They quickly ran to the next one and pressed it, nearly falling into the deep, cold water. A part of the room lit up again. Hope knew know that they would have to be quick about this or else they wouldn't be able to see and could risk falling down into the water and drowning. They quickly ran to the next one as the room started to dim again. They reached a dead end and turned back to go the other way. Hope slipped on some mud. They fell and quickly grabbed onto the side of the ground. They were left hanging there now, there legs dangling above the water. If they lost their grip and fell, they would drown and die. They held on tight. Their hand started to slip from the ground. They desperately tried to cling on for survival. It was no use and their hand slipped. They fell. This was it, it was over, they were going to die. They fell into the water with a loud splash. They slowly sank. Hope closed their eyes, excepting their faith. They suddenly felt themselves getting lifted upwards. They were lifted out of the water and onto the ground. They felt there clothes magically dry. Hope opened their eyes just in time to see a grey glow around them disappear and a flash of grey out of the corner of their eye. They quickly turned towards where the flash of grey had been. There was nothing there. Hope was freaked out but also grateful that they were alive. They whispered out thank you to whoever had saved them. They continued to walk out of the place. They were faced by a completely straight path with no obstacles at all and a river of water beside them. It was kind of beautiful. They continued to walk when they noticed something poking out of the water. Hope walked to the edge and looked at it. Suddenly, a huge squid like creature except enormous. Hope jumped backwards startled by the huge creature. "H-Hi there...I-I'm Onionsan...!" He exclaimed with his somehow happy and depressing tone of voice. Hope smiled a bit and waved. They kept walking and Onionsan swam beside them, chatting with them. "S-So you must be a h-human...?" Onionsan asked. Hope nodded. Onionsan smiled and waved all of his tentacles. "Bye..!" He said. Hope waved bye and walked into the next room. There was another area with a lot of wooden bridges. They walked across them. Hope had the feeling of being watched, a sense of dread. They looked behind themselves. Standing there, was Undyne in her suit of armor wielding one of her magical spears. Hope dashed off and Undyne ran after her in pursuit. Spears fired at them and they kept running and running and running. They tripped and fell to the ground. They had a huge gash on their leg and couldn't get up. They pulled themselves along the bridge. Hope reached a dead end and felt completely hopeless. they turned their head and looked at Undyne who was sprinting towards them Hope scrambled to their feet despite the splitting pain in the side of their leg. Undyne raised their spear and slashed through the bridge. The end of the bridge rocked and swayed and fell. Hope closed their eyes. "Huh? Is that a human? Hey, are you alright? What's your name? Hope huh? My name's-" Hope's eyes shot open from the dream. They had landed on a bed of black flowers, the same as when they first fell here. They got up and instantly fell back over from the pain in their leg and splitting pain in their back. They took out a cinnamon bun. Hope ate the cinnamon bun and healed. Hope got up and walked through the area. They seemed to be in a dump as their was piles of broken stuff everywhere. Hope walked over to a dummy they saw. They lightly punched it. Hope felt regret about punching it. They quickly walked to the exit but then heard a huge splashing. They turned back to the Dummy. Eyes appeared on it. It disappeared into the water and appeared in front of Hope. "Hehehe, Hello there human...How would you like to meet my knives...?" The Dummy asked. Hope frantically shook their head. "heh, no...? Well too bad! You come down here and just spare everyone!? Disgusting Disgusting Disgusting!! hahaha, and now! I will rip your soul out of your body!!" The Dummy exclaimed. Hope got pulled into a battle. The Sad Dummy attacks. Knives appeared beside Dummy and flew right at Hope. Hope dived out of the way of the knives. Mini Dummies appeared and all flew towards them and kept running, trying to get away. They kept coming, slowly starting to exhaust Hope. They got a chance to rest and ate a cinnamon bun. They fully healed and jumped back into action. Dummy kept firing at them. Hope tried to spare but Dummy was relentless. They saw some dummies appear beneath them and had an idea. They let them head towards them and at the last second, Hope moved out of the way and the dummies hit Sad Dummy, causing him to slow down a bit. Hope realised if they kept hitting them with the other dummies they would become to fatigued to keep going and Hope could spare them. They kept going until Dummy replaced the mini dummies with dummy-bots. It got harder and harder and Dummy started to move around and fly, making it harder to hit him. Hope came close to death many times. At the end they became extremely close to death but they got one last hit on Dummy. Dummy became so fatigued, they collapsed. Hope pressed MERCY. Dummy spared Hope, completely unable to move. Dummy gasped to try get his breath back. "O-Okay...you win...I'll leave now...sorry for attacking you..." Dummy said. "It's okay Dummy" Hope said smiling. Dummy smiled a bit and disappeared. Hope smiled and carried on walking.
