Spear Of Desparity

Hope walked away from the Dump, feeling happy that they had made Dummy a bit happy. They continued forth.  Waterfall was proving to be an extremely dangerous area for them. If those bones didn't show up, they would've died and if those flowers weren't there, Hope would've seriously injured themselves. They were cautious as they walked along a weak, swaying, wooden rope bridge. They heard someone running up behind them. They turned around, completely petrified as they thought it was Undyne. There, was the friendly face of Monster Kid, smiling at them. "H-Hi! I told you I would find a way a-around!" Monster Kid exclaimed. Hope smiled brightly and hugged him, happy to have someone they were friends with by them again. They let go of the hug and Hope saw the piercing stare, of Undyne. Hope looked at them and backed away a bit. Monster Kid suddenly tripped and was literally hanging on by his teeth. Hope looked at Undyne who was approaching them and at Monster Kid who was left hanging by his teeth. Hope decided that they would have to save them. It didn't matter if Undyne might catch them, Monster Kid could die if they don't save him. They ran over to Monster Kid and pulled them up onto the bridge. Undyne ran to grab Hope. Monster Kid jumped in front of them, keeping them from getting to Hope. "i-if you want to get them, y-you're gonna have to get through me...!" Monster Kid exclaimed, trying to sound menacing towards the royal guard leader. Undyne glared at him and then at Hope. They walked off in the other direction. Monster Kid grinned. Hope let out a deep breath of relief. They hugged Monster Kid again. "Thank you" Hope said. Monster Kid blushed faintly. "No problem..." Monster Kid said. They both smiled. "Wait...Oh god! I forgot! I'm supposed to be at home for dinner! Oh god, my parents are gonna be so mad! Gotta go, see ya!" Monster Kid exclaimed. Hope waved bye and Monster Kid ran off back to Snowdin. Hope smiled and quickly walked ahead in case Undyne was nearby. They saw a sparkling save star, a box and a huge cliff. Hope saved at the save star. They realised that there was someone above them. They looked at the huge, spiked top of the huge, mountain-like cliff. Undyne was standing on top, her black spear dimly illuminating the room. "Human, I am surprised you made it this far..." Undyne said. "...but now..it's time to be captured...but first..let me tell you the story of our people..." Undyne said. "It was a long time ago...King A- ...You know what...no....why should I waste my time telling you that..." Undyne asked. Her black spear became more jagged. "WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE!!!" Undyne exclaimed. Hope looked, extremely frightened. Undyne jumped down from the cliff, right towards Hope. Hope was pulled into a battle with the seemingly fearless Humanoid Fish. Undyne, Head Of The Royal Guard, attacks. Many spears appeared and fired directly at Hope. Hope tried to dodge but they got hit many, many times.  They were extremely low on health. They checked their options. They saw the run option. They ran away from Undyne, running as fast as they could. Spears flew after them and Undyne chased Hope. They caught up and pulled them back into battle. Spears started to erupt from the ground. One erupted up right underneath their feet. Hope managed to keep balance on top of it and it didn't go through them. They jumped down and ran away again. "HEY PUNK! GET BACK HERE AND FIGHT ME!!" Undyne yelled, dashing after them. Hope tried their hardest to dash away but Undyne grabbed them and pulled Hope back into battle. They pulled out a spear and waved it over Hope's soul. Hope's soul became green. "Ha! You can't escape now punk!!" Undyne exclaimed. Hope tried to run and sure enough, they weren't able to leave. They were stuck in battle with this crazed spear wielding fish women. her black hair, long hair swayed in the wind. Spears fired everywhere and Hope jumped out of the way. Undyne threw a spear into Hope's hands to use. More spears fired and Hope smashed them away with the spear they were now holding. They erupted up everywhere and Hope had to jump away. They realised their soul was back to normal and ran away quickly. Undyne chased after them in hot pursuit. Hope ran by an electric sign saying WELCOME TO HOTLAND. Undyne grabbed them and pulled them into battle. Hope was getting absolutely exhausted from all of this. They blocked more and more spears, getting more and more fatigued. Undyne very nearly killed them at one point but Hope ate a cinnamon bun and ran away again. They ran into the new area of Hotland. It was now unbearably hot. They ran and saw a sentry station. Shade was sitting at it, asleep. They ran past it, glaring at Shade for being asleep when they could be murdered at the moment. Undyne stopped and looked at Shade. They looked enraged and kept chasing Hope. Hope ran into a room with a water dispenser. Undyne slowed down. "i-it's so...hot...but...must...kill..." Undyne said, her voice dry and raspy and gasping for breath. They fell over in the metal armor, nearly having a heat stroke. Hope looked over at the water dispenser. They quickly grabbed a cup and filled it up. They were careful not to spill it and walked over to Undyne. They spilled the water over them to cool them down. Undyne's body temperature cooled down because of the cold water. Undyne slowly got up and stared at Hope. They glared at them, turned away and walked back to Waterfall. Hope smiled, having helped her out. They walked back into Waterfall, smiling brightly. They still wondered who had saved them from death all those times. They couldn't worry about that now though, because they had to escape still.
