HeartShatter...

Hope and Toriel walked inside. Hope looked around smiling. "come child, let me show you're surprise" Toriel said, walking towards the hall. Hope followed her, wondering what it was. They walked over to Toriel who was standing by a door, a pitch black door to be exact. "surprise child, your very own room..." Toriel said with her, monotone, depressing, almost trance inducing voice. Hope smiled brightly at how kind Toriel was being to her. [yes I gave Frisk a gender, sue me]. "wait...is that...something burning!" Toriel said frantically and ran off to the kitchen. Hope opened the door to the room and walked inside. The room had purple and grey walls, stuffed bears, a closet, a bed with a purple blanket, a ceiling light and a desk with drawing supplies. Hope checked their phone that Toriel gave them and saw it was late.  they decided they should go to sleep. they walked over to the bed and got in. They slowly fell asleep in the rather comfy bed. They woke up a while later and saw a slice of butterscotch cinnamon pie on a plate on the floor. They got up and walked over to it. They picked it up. They then walked out of the room and to Toriel who was sitting in her purple chair in the living room, reading a book by the fire. They walked over. "huh? oh, child you're awake" Toriel said. "Do you need anything?" Toriel asked.  "look...I appreciate your hospitality but...I need to go back to the surface...how do I get back home?" Hope said. "what...but this is your home now" Toriel said back. "...oh look at this book I'm reading it's called "30 facts about snails" would you like to hear some?" Toriel asked. "it says here, snails make a delicious snack". "Toriel...how do I exit the ruins?" Hope asked. Toriel had a sad look on her face. "...wait here a minute...I need to go do something..." Toriel said and rushed off towards the basement. Hope followed her, knowing she was hiding something. They followed her down into the basement and walked through the halls after her. when they both reached the door, Toriel didn't look at them. "y-you want leave so b-badly...then prove yourself" Toriel said, turning around. "prove to me you are strong enough to survive!!" She said as black flames appeared in her hands. HeartShatter plays. "wh-what the!?" Hope exclaimed scared. Black Flames flew at them from Toriel who had tears in her eyes. Hope pressed MERCY. "fight me, fight me or run away!" Toriel yelled. Hope pressed MERCY again as more Black Flames flew at her. Hope jumped out of the way but got burned by two of them. "GAH!" Hope yelped. They still pressed MERCY, causing Toriel to tear up more. More flames flew but they didn't go towards Hope. it happened again and again and again and again. MERCY...Toriel started to cry. The flames disappear and Toriel hugs Hope.
