The Royal Guard

Hope started to walk in the direction Shade had went and saw a box and a sign and three-way split path. She continued walking and saw Light and Shade standing beside each other. "and that's wh-" Light got cut off when he noticed Hope standing there. Light and Shade looked at each other then back at Hope and then back at each other then back at Hope and kept doing so until they were fully spinning around. They then stopped looking at Hope. "WOWIE! I'm really dizzy..." Light said, nearly falling over their own feet. Shade chuckled. "Sans is that a human!?" Light exclaimed. "nah bro...I-I think that's a r-rock..." Shade said jokingly. "OH..." Light said, sounding a bit disappointed. Hope giggled. "but wait, what's that I-in front of the rock..." Shade said quickly. "Oh My God!!" Light said and turned to Shade. "Sans what is that..." Light whispers. Shade sighs. "it's a h-human bro..." Shade explained. "OH!" Light exclaimed and turned back to Hope. "So then human! you must want to challenge The Great Papyrus!" Light exclaimed "well then you should know that it will be impossible to beat me! but because you want to I shall let you challenge my great and amazing puzzles!" Light exclaimed. Hope giggled and Shade chuckled. "NOW! I shall go prepare my puzzles for you human! Come on Sans!" Light yelled, running off. Shade followed him. Light told the royal guard dogs that a human has entered Snowdin. Hope started to walk again and came to a bridge. They walked across, cautious that they didn't fall. Two dogs that were dressed like the Grim Reaper walked up to them. "*sniff* is that a smell..." One of them asked the other, they sounded male. "yes I think it is a smell..." The other replied, they sounded female. "I think it's a human smell..." The male one said to the other. "and humans have to be-" The female one said. "CAPTURED!" they both said in unison as Hope got pulled into a battle. Dogamy and Dogeressa attack. Hope pushed MERCY. The dogs didn't stop. They both attacked in unison and when their axes reached the middle the bottoms formed a heart. Hope managed to dodge the attack but just barely. They pressed act and rolled on the ground. The dirt covered Hope's smell. The dogs were confused and attacked gain, using the same attack. Hope got hit but only once. She pressed MERCY again and because the dogs thought they were dog from the smell of the dirt, they spared Hope. Hope quickly ran off before they could realise Hope was human. They kept walking and came across a weird hut. They went up to it and a dog wearing a bandana, holding a dagger and seemed to be smoking a dog treat popped up. "did something just move..!?" The dog yelled with a depressing voice but still loud. The dog pulled Hope into a battle. Doggo attacks. Hope quickly pressed Mercy but Doggo kept fighting them. Hope accidentally tripped a bit. "Something moved!" Doggo yelled. Huge, baby blue colored attacks appeared and shot at Hope. They weren't fast enough to react and got hit but...didn't get hurt? Hope saw another one and didn't move. It didn't hurt them. They realised they were some sort of special attack that you didn't have to move for. The battle went on until Hope managed to spare them. As they continued walking ahead they noticed Shade and Light standing across from them, a patch where the snow was an inch lower and darker separating them. "NYEH HEH HEH Human! Welcome to my first puzzle, the electricity maze!" Light exclaimed. "You shall hold the orb I'm holding right now and walk across! the twist...THE MAZE IS COMPLETELY INVISIBLE! if you step wrong, the orb will deliver a hearty shock! NOW GO!" Light exclaimed. Hope stepped wrong but Light was the one that got shocked. "NYEH!? Why was I the one that got shocked!?" Light yelled. "Um...Pretty sure you have to give the orb to the human first..." Shade said. Light face palmed and Hope giggled. "Of course! Now human let me just come over to where you are" Light said. Light walked across being careful to avoid the electricity triggers, put the orb in Hope's hands and walked back. The thing he forgot was he had left a set of footprints that showed where to walk. Hope walked in them and made it across without getting shocked once. "WHAT!? How did you do that!?" Light exclaimed. Shade and Hope held back laughter. "You win this time human! but! That was only my first puzzle!" Light exclaimed, walking ahead. Shade followed him. Hope burst into laughter at how Light accidentally gave them the solution. They kept walking on, very excited.
