Thinking ahead

Mark's POV

  "No.Maybe make the thumbnail a bit bigger.It's not gonna fit."Ethan and I were working on the thumbnail for today's video.He was having some trouble on the new editing software.

"Okay!But i don't understand the way you want it!"Ethan said getting frustrated.

"Here,"I pull up a chair right beside him,"I'll walk you through it."

"Hey losers!"Amy yelled entering the door.She had just got back from walking Chica.It had been about an hour walk,and I remember her calling me in the middle of my second upload.She came up to me and pecked me on the cheek,trying not to distract me too much from helping Ethan.

"Mark,look at this picture I posted on twitter!It absolutely adorable!"Amy said and I turned my head to look at her phone.It was a picture of her and Chica's feet together to make the most cutest photo ever.(couldn't upload the photo..sorry)

"I know I saw!I put it in today's video.It is really cute!"I reply with a smile.

"Okay.UGH,why is Chica way more photogenic then I am!"Amy stares at Chica,who is laying on the floor staring back at her."She takes all the spot light!"Amy adds.We both laugh and I see Ethan tinkering with all the buttons on the keyboard.I decide to get back to helping him while Amy sits in one of the beanbag chairs with her little drawing tablet thing.About 10 minutes of helping Ethan,he finally understands and we finished the thumbnail.

"Alright,we are done!Go ahead and post it will ya."I say and Ethan follows.

"Oh great,Mark I need to borrow  you for a second."Amy says putting down her tablet.

"Okay."We head outside and take a small walk.I could tell that this was gonna be some talk.

Amy looks down at her phone and then back at me."Okay so i need a huge favor."

"Alright,what is it?"I say back hesitantly.

"My cousin needs me to babysit her child,Selena.Do you think you could help me because I don't know how it's gonna go and I never met her."Amy says with big puppy dog eyes.She always does that when she really wants something.I roll my eyes and ask her how old she is.Selena is a 7 year old girl that loves horses and ponies.Typical little girl things."Mark,please!I really need your help."She begs but this time with a little girl impression.I finally cave in.

"Alright.Alright.I'll help,but you owe me dinner."I point at her with a silly smile.

"Deal!"She hops with happiness and it makes me laugh."Try not to get too attached."She laughs and runs away from me,i could still hear her laughter while she ran.

"Why am I dating a weirdo?"I chuckle to myself and start running after her so we would meet back at the office.

*Next day*

*Amy's POV*

When I woke up,I already got ready and drove to Mark's place.He wasn't up so I let myself in with the extra key that he gave to me.I walked in his room and low and behold....he was asleep. Didn't surprise me now that I know the reason why he is always late to the office everyday.I grabbed the horn that was in the right bedside drawer.I bought it just for this reason.How Ironic.I put my finger on the nozzle and press down hard.A full buzz filled the room and scared Mark straight out of bed.He jumped up from the bed in fear,but when he saw me with the horn,and a hand covering one of my ears,he knew what was going on.

"UGGHHH!!"Mark groaned and flopped back on his bed.

"Sorry bub,but it's time for us to go to park to pick up Selena."I put the horn back in the drawer and flopped on the other side of the bed.

"I don't wanna."He turned his head to me and I could easily see the dread in his facial expression.

"It's not gonna be that bad!You might like her!"I assure him.He gives me a 'i doubt it it'face and finally gets up.I tell him that i'm going to wait into the car until he gets out of the shower.As i'm sitting in the driver's seat,still waiting,my cousin texts me.

Cousin=C    A=Amy

C-Hey!Are you at the park yet?I'm running a bit late,but will be there in like 10 minutes.

A-I'm still waiting on my boyfriend to get out the shower.You guys will probably have to wait fr us.

C-Okay,tell me when you guys are in the area.

A-Will do!See ya!

*End of text convo*

I put my phone away and see Mark heading down the porch stairs.He opens the passenger seat door.

"Hey!I thought I was driving."Mark complains in a baby voice.

"Nope.I am,and we have to get there before 1:35." We agree that I am going to drive because it was already 12:47 and there wasn't more time for negotiating.

*Time skip to them arriving at the park*

"She said she was going to wait for us here!"Mark and I were getting confused on where the hell my cousin and Selena were.I look behind me and see my cousin from afar and she starts waving at me.We exchange hugs and so do Mark and her."This is my boyfriend Mark."I introduce.Mark gives her a smile and a small wave.In the corner of my eye,I can see Selena poking her head out from hiding behind her mom.

"Hi sweetie!"I say with a smile.I can tell that once I smiled,she felt a little less scared.

"Um,hi."She says coming out from her hiding place.

"Hi,I'm Mark!"Mark tries to introduce himself.However, when she sees a large man,she runs towards me and I swing her into my arms.

"Don't worry,he's nice."I attempt to assure her and make her feel better.She still doesn't trust him but we ignore it and assume that she will get over it.We load the car up and head back to Mark's place..
