Thinking ahead (part 2)

Amy's POV

  "S-So where are we going?"Selena hesitates.Mark is driving and i'm sitting in the back with her.She is sitting in one of those car seats for bigger kids.

"We are heading back to Mark's place.Is that fine with you?"I say to her.

She looks at me,"Yeah,"she brings up her finger and motions me to come closer for her to whisper something in my ear,"He kind of scares me."I turn my head to her ear to whisper back.

"I know,he looks like the big bad wolf,but with red hair,"she starts laughing at my statement and i smile.I start whispering again."But guess what,He's a nice wolf."Selena again turns to me but with a smile and nods.

"Okay girls,we're here!"Mark exclaims as he turns to the both of us."Amy,I got the stuff in the trunk,how about you go take the little cutie inside."

"Will do,come on girly."I unstrap her for the seat and she goes and runs into the house."Wait up!"I go running after her.

"Is there any games to play?"Selena asks.Crap.I knew i forgot something.

"Oh,um,well i forgot the games but we can play hide and seek!"I suggest.She tilts her head like a lost and confused puppy."Wait,you never played hide and seek!"

"No,what's that?"She asks once again,but with an intrigued look on her small little face.

"Oh,your childhood has not even started!Don't worry aunt Amy is gonna change that."I tickle her and explain the rules."Okay,so first i'm gonna count to ten and you're gonna hide and i have to find you."

"Got it!"She tells and jumps up in excitement.I turn around and start counting.1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9...10. 

*Selena speaking to Mark*

Mark was sitting in the kitchen on his phone

"Mark!I'm gonna hide under the table and don't tell aunt Amy that I'm here!PLEASE!"

"Alright..i'll tell her that you're in the bathroom hiding."Mark replies.

*Back to Amy's POV*

I first go into the kitchen where Mark is."Hey babe,do you think you could give me a hint?"

"I saw her run into the bathroom.What are you guys doing?"Mark said pretending to be clueless.

"Thanks."I head into the bathroom and she wasn't there."Are you sure you're not lying to me?"

"Hey,I'm only keeping a promise.No hard feelings."Mark giggles.I roll my eyes but realize that I would've done the same.I can easily see that he was warming up to her since he didn't rat her out.All of a sudden I see a little foot sticking out of the bottom of the table.My eyes are locked on the target.I get my hands in the form of wolf claws and pounce.

"ROARRRR!"I yell and making Selena jump.She laughs and yells that i got her.

"I'm hungry!"Selena complains.

"Alright,Mark,how about I cook dinner and you take your turn to play with Selena."I suggest."Do y'all want chicken nuggets."

"Yes please,"Mark says in a little kid voice,"but only if they're in the shape of dinosaurs!"Selena agrees and they leave the kitchen laughing.Selena and Mark is really getting along well.I grab the pan and lay the Dino nuggets in a organized manner.What can i say,that's just me being me. 

*Mark's POV*

 Amy assigns me to play with the girl.I have no clue what kids like to play.I just say the first thing that pops up in my head."Do you like video games?"

"Well,i don't play much.I usually play with my barbie dolls or play outside with my friend Mia."Dang it,that was the only thing i had planned.I'll just ask her about Mia.

"Okay,well tell me about Mia!"I say to buy a little time and think of something to play.She sits down with her legs crossed.

"Mia and I have been best friends since like,preschool.We play dress up and tea party all the time.Mommy lets us have fashion shows and we always go in her makeup and heels,"she goes from inside voice to whispering softly,"don't tell her I said that."I giggle in her remark.All of a sudden i remember a think i used to do when i was little.I bend down to her height to where i'm on my knees.

"Here,get on my back."She looks at me for a second,then gets all excited.

"Oh!Me and daddy do this all the time!"Selena hops on my back like a little bunny rabbit.I get up and say to her to spread her arms out like a plane.She follows and i say the three words.

"Ready,set,GO!"I start running really fast and i can hear her giggles in the background of all the wind hitting my ears.I run past Amy in the kitchen.She gives me a smile and i make a weird sound affect."NEEEEOOOWWWW!"I run out and can tell that Amy is giving me the 'why am i dating a weirdo' look.I grab the doorknob to the backyard door and yell,"WE' MUST BE FREE!"I continue running in the grass and soon we tumble down.We just laid in the grass laughing.

"Aunt Amy was right."Selena says.I give her a confused look,"You're not a bad wolf,you're a good one!"This just made me feel so tingly inside and I couldn't help but smile until we got inside for dinner.
